It's a telemarketer that has blocked all incoming calls.

AND - I have NO DEBTS TO ANYONE! Do not even reply to these idiots.....they are scammers.

Called them back - they are a debt collection company.....said the person they were looking for may have had that number before me....I informed them my CELL is on the DO NOT CALL list and not to call me again I had already reported it.....they want YOUR name when you call back, as they are obviously selling the information and telemarketing. Person (male) who answered the phone told ME I had an ATTITUDE.;;;;WOW REALLY??? YOU called MY personal cell phone which is on the DNC list and you have the audacity to say I HAVE AN ATTITUDE? Don't answer if this 417-208- exchange calls you - they are obviously in the business of harassing people for information to scam later.

Received a text fromm 417-988-3934 (springfield, mo)  stating a rather offensive statement.  I didn't bother to call back since I figured this was just a scam.....did anyone else receive a text from this number?  I was warned about out of the country scams stealing your phone info when you call back or speak to anyone....

Yea...I've been getting calls for roughly a week now, from 417-208-3238. Due to my working overnight shifts at my job, I usually don't wake up til round 8-9pm...got a coupla more calls yesterday...if this # calls back, I'll let yuns know what I find out...as far as my own reverse look-up info, it comes from Brooks Fiber Communications, in Joplin, MO. Will tryta keep any an everyone on here updated about this....wait a minute...just gotta call from em...silenced it an called back. The only thing that happens, is it rings once, an a recorded females voice comes on, an states, "If you would like to be added to our do not call list, please press 2..." Hmm...thats all it says, over an over...

recieved a call from this # and tried to return but just a recording of nothing.

They have been calling me like a marketing message and then I lost it, they called me 3 times every 2 frigging hours Today.

I answered when they called and the person on the other end wanted $200 dollars for some online work. They claimed that I had gotten a membership from them. The credit card they had for me was incorrect. I repeatedly asked the woman for a supervisor and never got one. The customer service number they continued to give me was for Allied Waste. I called and they of course have no idea who I am. I continued to tell the woman the number was incorrect. Her response was put a 1 in front of the number. She didn't even know that 1 means long distance and with a cell it isn't used. I eventually got the name of the company she worked for which is Capital Keystone based in Utah. I did a little research and the telephone number number is (801)966-4805. The address is 4051 W 6480 S, West Jordan, Utah, 84084-6253. It is some sort of collections agency with idiots running it. They have no helpful information to resolve the issue. They have not given me a bill, a working callback number where the person on the other end was not allied waste, they still have not given the name of the company that I owe, I am getting pissed! This number repeatedly calls.  I have tried to return the calls, a voice, not an operator comes on and says that the number is no longer working, yet it calls repeatedly.  I believe this is a scam to get your credit card number.

I just answered a call from this number, and it was "Mark from the wedding division of Men's Wearhouse" wanting to know if we had selected tuxedos for our upcoming wedding.  I had received numerous calls from this number in the last few days, with no messages left.

Got a phone call from this number yesterday, when I answered it sounded like my phone cut out so I tried to call back and got the msg the number was out of service. How bizarre, they JUST called!  They called again just now, got on the computer to see what this is about and saw all of you guys's posts. Whoever they are, they are dumbasses!

im getting them to and I'm in St. Louis.  I tried to answer but they weren't there.  People like that just suck!!  And if it is a collection agency....screw them AND whoever they were hired by!!!!

I have had four in the last two days

Multiple calls and no answer. Calling number yields a disconnected message. If so why do I keep getting these calls. Can they be blocked?

Hmmmm....I have just been trying to find out who called us from 417-208-3045 (instead of 50) and it points to Brooks Fiber Communication located in Joplin, Mo., too.  Our answering machine picked the call up and there was a recording of what sounded like a man giving a lecture, but in another language.  Sounded like French.  ???  I hung up on the message while it was still going.

I have been getting these call as well, and like everyone else have had no success calling them back.  I did a reverse lookup on the number and according to USSearch, the number is a landline in Jasper MO and Brooks Fiber Communications is the carrier.  I didn't pay the .95 for the full report thinking that the search service and the phone number might be some type of related scam.

I am going to try and find information on Brooks Fiber Communications and see if I can get the calls stopped, or I'm going to report the number to the FCC.

Yep just called me too 8 times in a row!!! when i called back of course not in service...Oh well thanks Rico for some idea

i called back.
it rang quite a bit.
but then went to busy.
im thinking about just calling my carrier and having them block the number

they have called me twice today and I put it straight to voice mail.  Then i immediately called the number and a recording came on and said this number is no longer in service.  As the guy above said, that is impossible.  I even tried to call from another phone to see and i got the same message.

Same here, no message, but repeatedly calls... and at the same time daily... the company is based in Joplin, Missouri but to find out who this is, requires a credit card...

Same here calls every day at 10:50 or 11:50am every day... Leaves no messages, maken me mad thats all I can say

Same here.  I called it and got an opperator saying "the number wasn't in service - this is a recording" over and over, then the busy signal, then disconnected. But, thats not possible - someone just doesn't want us being able to leave a message.
