Is this a scam? they have called me twice trying to collect for something, and will not give a company name. Tng up on metoday when I said I would contact a lawyer. I ow no bills that I do not pay.

I received a phone call from them today, 4/17/2012.  They said they were a collections agency for a magazine company.  They told me I should keep making my monthly payments and not pay for all 5 of my magazines at once.  They said they were contacting their customers because they had received complaints that there was another company trying to get the customers to make payments at once and not monthly.  I do not receive 5 magazines and when I told them that, they said ok and hung up.

Just received a phone call from this phone number as well and after reading these posts just went to my acct. and blocked this number.

This is a scam - unfortunately I picked up.  They said I am in some kind of sweepstakes, I quickly asked what this is about and the person hung up.  Do not pick up this call, it is a SCAM!

call came in on Oct 11, at 6:39.  The disconnected soon as the answering machine picked up.

417 area code shows areas in Missouri.  possibly cell phone.

This phone number calls me, I answer no one there, call back and always a fast busy.

417-264-2989 has called me several times a week for the last month and every time I answered they hung up and I'd call back and it would just ring....I don't have time for phone games!!

this number called me at 4:20 today and didn't leave any message. When I called back it was a busy dial tone. Only annoyed me because they called last Wed and the same thing happend and last Tuesday 417-264-2271 and 417-264-4938 called and didn't leave messages either..
