I had an ad posted for a vehicle! Said it wasa woman buying it for her dad, she wad in the army!

Same thing - now he is texting me "Hello" after i told him not to contact me.

Same scenario.  listed on cars.com and he identified himself as "Radiel Am" and "okay with the asking price, I will not be able to come to look at it due to the nature of my work. because am a USA Army and on special duty right now, and need to send it home for my father. but can you assure me that I will not be disappointed and get back to me with your last price"  Thanks for the heads-up everyone

Thanks for the info Chris & Jen. We placed an add on NexTech. He sent a text...said he was oversea's, his name was Rafael & wanted his dad to come look at it. Beware sellers!!! Don't give any info out.

Since he's probably not in your state--wouldn't that possibly interest the FBI???

my post was on nextechclassifieds.com...same thing though, wants to run a money scam with paypal! wonder if the police could do anything since "he" keeps using the same name and phone number?

I posted a ad on craigs list to sell a car & got a text from this #, the guy said his name is Barry!
This is a scammer looking to get personal info from pay pal accounts ! Or to scam money out of you! Be careful, & don't waist u'r time!!!!
