This sounds like extortion dressed as debt collection. The agents' horrid threats are empty and their conduct is illegal. As early as possible it's critical to determine if your collector is domestic or yet another South Asian faker. The former you can sue into submission; the latter tend to be out of reach.

This number constantly harrasses me!

Received two phone calls on my job from this number and laughed in their face I have not taken a loan out with anyone and I threatened that if they called me on my job again I was going to the DA here in the town where I lived and turn them in do not fall for this scam they threatened to have the police and sherriff come to my job and arrest me my reply was to tell them to come on I would be waiting that was back in December have yet to be arrested the person on line had a heavy accent and there was a lot of noise in the background and when I asked for name and phone number they hung up and when I called back they would not answer the phone

Recently got a call from the same number. Having previous encounters with police, i was streesin off these a***oles threatning me with being arrested for some payday loan. Saying im being charged with check fraud and would be arrested.

I keep getting the same damn people at diffrent numbers! Jon smith, Don Smith, ect. Guess they cant make up their minds who they want to be. I laugh because its funnny they think that I am so stupid. I and my spouce work for the Federal government, with top clerance so let me think... ummm.. yeah ok nice try! When I gave him my identification number and asked who was this law suit with, he refused to tell me just said I would have information in 48 hours. I would suggest never look at payday loans online! We did because in between paychecks sometimes is rough, but we decided against it. They keep calling, its annoying but at least gives me a great laugh! I think I will flag my Social though, I dont trust them, they got all that information from a payday loan website.....

I received numerous calls today from this number and they would not stop calling, so I finally answered the call. It was a middle-eastern man whom claims his name is "Luke Smith" also claims that their "law firm" is filing a law suit against me for criminal forgery and theft by deception. They say that I had received a "payday loan" from a company that they represent, and that I have failed to pay them back. However, I have NOT received nor filed for ANY type of loan with any company they are claiming to represent. The man read me my last four of my SSN and other personal information. Also began to tell me about the "law suit" so he transfered me to another man whose name was "Kevin Green". He then told me that he had the affidavit in front of him and began to read the fruadulant information to me. When I asked for the personal information reguarding his company, where they are located, what the coorperate number and address are, the legal firm whom represents them, and the names of the attorneys, so that I could relay the information to my attorney...the man hung up in my face!! This IS a fruadulant SCAM and please if they ask for any type of personal information DO NOT give it to them. The man told me that the poilice would be looking for me to arrest me either at home or my place of employment as well. DO NOT believe these people, however if they have any of your personal information, FILE A POLICE REPORT IMMEDIATELY to protect yourself and show to any other companies whom they may try to give your information to, to use against you.

I got the same phone call just minutes ago,because i caught on to the scam they were trying to run on me,weeks ago offering me a loan if i sent them money in advance,please somebody make the government see how serious this illegal alien bullcrap is getting and or the government allowing foriegn countries to,breech our citizens security,and personal information.

I Been receiving the same calls from 417-680-5237 and very tired of scanners like these foreigners and crap. There lucky we can't find them I don't know about you all but I will hurt them badly.

This is ridiculous - they have been calling me from this number and a number in Brimfield MA 413-752-0501.
They are calling me at work and I don't know how to get them to stop.  I've answered and told them to stop calling me at work - it does not good.  They have literally called over 60 times in the last 1 1/2 hours.  I am not getting any of my actual work calls because they are keeping my line tied up.
They say they are calling from a Law Firm and they're going to have me arrested because I owe them money.  But they won't say HOW i owe them money or how much or any details.  It's crazy.  I told them to put it in writing and they refuse.  This middle eastern sounding dude - who TODAY is using the name Luke Smith said I will get all the details when the police arrest me at work on Friday. :(

Greetings, I've been getting numerous calls from 417.680.5237, regarding a pay day loan I took out in December 2012.  I'm concerned about this because I know it's a SCAM.

If anyone falls for this, I am very concerned about their common sense. Because it is soo fricken obvious that it is a scam. Noone calls you and demands money over the phone, and says you'll be arrested if you dont pay them, this is absolutely ridiculous. Laughable really. They called, I hit answer, and let the phone lay there, they called again, I hit answer let the phone lay there, I think this went on for about 20 minutes, he called about 7 times. lmao, yeah ..not talking to your sorry pathetic scamass

I received a phone call from this number first someone answered then when I did not know what they where talking about then he put someone else on talking about I owe for a payday loan which I don't them when on to say that I will be arrested at my Jo and home I told them I never had a loan then he got persistent I was like really dude he kept talking and I hung up this is ridiculous something has to be done about these types of calls

very threatning,they say there some type of police and said i recieved a loan from them and said since i did not pay it criminal charges of theft and somthing else they would not give me a name or a company name of them or the loan company it is scammers that got my information online.They said somthing bad was going to happen to me.    2/05/2013
