this makes the third or fourth time this number has called my phone .I have repeatedly told them DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN !! they dont listen .  This needs to be reported STOP BOTHERING PEOPLE please...

I got the hard sell at Bass Pro for this offer.  I told them no because when we had entered before I had received 100 phone calls (seriously) on our home number.  So they said "no this isn't the same thing".  Well guess what it is.  Some huge company out there selling Branson crap which tells me NO ONE wants to go to Branson anymore because they can't give this crap away.  I blocked the number.  Do not enter contests anywhere is what I have learned because it is all just a line to get your cell or home number.   Funny thing, I have never heard of anyone winning a contest at Bass Pro either

Received a call from this number on my mobile twice today. Did not answer. They left no message.

I receive unwanted calls from 417-724-8133. They never leave a message. It's very annoying and uses my cell phone minutes.

I just had a missed call from this number also.  I looked it up on this page, called them right back and asked that they immediatly take me off of their call list.  Could tell a change in her voice after I said that, but she said she "added" me to the list.

I got scammed by these people last year.  Mo.AG office got them to refund my money.  They do scam as they'll tell you certain amount of tickets, then when you receive in the mail, it's for less amount of tickets.  You have to pay for your whole party to go.  They try to tell you they're going to go listen to the tape and then come back to say they told you "x" amount of tickets.  You just don't remember.  You can hear all of them laughing in the back ground.  I didn't sign anything, I went to "Son of the Pioneers" Christmas show one year, that's how they got my number.  I will never go back to "Sheperd of the Hills" again.  They just lost a lot of business as my children like summer and christmas show.  They're lost!!  Do not get mixed up with these people!!!  After dealing with Mo Attorny General I can not believe they're calling me again!!!  Stupid and desperate.  I did change my charge card after finding out I'd been scammed, but when they refunded the card company did get it on my new card.  That way they couldn't pull the money back again!!  Tell them to shove it.  Chamber of Commerce never did anything for me, only Attorney General office.  Hope this helps.

If it wasn't a SCAM you wouldn't have to call victims, you would have customers that call you. And your company wouldn't have to pay idiots like you to lie for them on the internet. Funny how legitimate companies don't have clowns posting on sites like this that their company isn't a SCAM. Only SCAMMERS try to claim that -- only SCAMMERS need to.

And the BBB doesn't take anybody's number off phone lists. I'd say nice try, but there's nothing nice about FRAUD.

I actually work for this company (no, I promise I am NOT a telemarketer!!!!) and, even though it is a sales pitch, the offer actually isn't that bad. Typically people stay from 2-5 days and get free tickets to a show or two while down here. In Branson, you can't run a bad business because you will get shut down in no time at all! This is not a scam, you will not be taken advantage of, and most certainly your information is not sold to outside markets. However, if you are not interested in the Branson area, or in coming up here on one of their packages, just asked to be put on their no call list. The Consumer Protection Agency is not the company to call if you feel you're being violated in any way. If you get two or more unwanted calls in a day, you can call the Better Business Bureau to make sure your name is removed.

Actually this sounds like a program for you to receive complimentary nights at a resort in lieu of attending a sales seminar, most likely for a time share. Yes, a high pressure sales seminar.
In my experience, the $49.99 is for taxes for the hotel stay. I receive these offers quite a bit and they are not a bad deal and not a scam. However, I would not recommend signing up for this from a phone call, that could be shady. I get brochures in the mail and have numbers to call them back; I do my research first and if the trip is worth while and I have the time, why not. However, Branson? No thanks.

Got a call from this number just now, offered some vacation crap.  When I said I'm not interested, she just hung up.  Very rude.  These people are scammers, stay away from them.

They called me and asked for "Cassandra Roads" and then verified the number. They said "Well she wrote this number down on an entry form - I guess she doesn't know her own number and now she's missed out on a trip to Branson. You folks ever been to Branson?" I hung up...

Recieved numerous calls from this number. It has something to do with Branson. I finally called them back. I gave them my phone number and asked them to NEVER call me again. They claim they put me on a do not call list and I would not be contacted again. I hope they are right.

I have gotten 4 calls from this number in the last day and I haven't answered any of them. A few months ago they called and I answered and they told me I had won a trip to Branson. I asked them how did they get my number and they said from a drawing while I was in the Dallas area. I told them I filled out nothing and I kept pressing them to tell me what drawing did I go for. Finally they hung up but every now and then since then I keep getting calls from Nixa, MO and I know not to answer. After reading yalls inquiries I hope some poor soul hasn't forked over any more. Smells like a scam to me!!

My husband received a phone call from this number yesterday.  They claimed that they were from the Shepherd of the Hills Resort in Branson, Mo.  What would usually cost us $165.00 per night for a family of 4, would only cost us $49.99 for the whole 4 days!!!  These people really need to be stopped.  They kept getting agitated with my husband because he was telling them that he had to speak with his wife.  They kept discounting things and then kept saying "you're gonna miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime." He told them, "oh well.  I'm not losing anything because as it stands right now, I don't have it.  No biggie."  He told them to send us something in writing... doubtful anything will show.  Good to know that our instincts were correct.  Disheartening to know that the Consumers Protection Agency are too busy to deal with this.

If anyone is interested, the Branson area Chamber of Commerce number is 417-334-4084 -  maybe if enough people called, they would find a way to stop these creeps.

I got a call from this number this morning.  The area code is the Branson, Missouri area.  I called the Chamber of Commerce in Branson.  She said to call the Attorney General for Missouri (Consumer Protection Agency) 573-751-3321.   I just called them.  They refuse to even write anything down.  The woman said to hang up on them and don't talk to them.  That they are scammers trying to sell something.  I told her the phone had a Branson MO area code and she said they used some phone thing where it will mimic any number they want.   She said that the AG's office was 'too busy' to do anything about them, and that they were probably out of the jurisdiction anyway.  

Personally?  I find that very cold and disheartening.  Who can you go to or trust then?  It sure is giving Branson, and Missouri, a bad reputation.
