Telemarketers for for-profit colleges...

I got a couple of calls from this number and after I didn't answer they called back from a blocked number.

Get calls a couple times a day never leave a message. I called the number back raised the roof giving them hell. It's pro academic, they falsely advertise jobs to get phone numbers and then the start to call about going to school. I report these calls by filing a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry any one call file a complaint with the do not call registry.

I used to work for the telemarketing company out of Springfield MO that calls for Pro Acedemix. All you have to is specifically that you would like to be placed on the do not call list. There is a button on the computer the telemarketers can click that removes people from their calling list and they are legally required to do so if someone asks to be put on the do not call list. But be careful how you word your answer, they will only remove you from the list if you say " please put me on the do not call list".

The name is Pro Academics. They are a college/school recruiting company.

I get calls at least once a day from this number, never leave a message.

I get a ton of these calls per month, from multiple numbers.  Sometimes the numbers are from the same company, simply different extension.  I was so happy when I first obtained a cell phone, that all these automated and sales calls could no longer reach me.  THOSE WERE THE DAYS.  Now take your choice; either abusive calls reaching the wrong party (yet won't believe you & stop calling), unwanted sale calls, automated advertisements, automated POLITICAL calls (means I will NEVER vote for someone using this tactic), Identity theft attempts, Contest entries! (that I didn't enter), etc.  After having my identity stolen I no longer answer callers I don't recognize.  How many calls must I block?  Thanks for listening to my rant.

I don't know how they got my number. You apply online for ONE school, and they all come out of the woodwork. Just ask them to take your number off the call list. DNC list is only for annoying telemarketers.

Hey everyone just start messing with them like when they start talking just keep saying what? They'll hang up they will call back it funny though they talk louder and louder haha but idk how to get them to stop calling

Yes they call me several times a day every day it is about going. Back to college I keep telling no and to take me off there list but they keep calling some time twice in the same hour

Keeps calling and calling.....since I do not ever answer calls from un identified callers I obviously do not answer.....I am just tired of getting two calls every other day from these people

Don't know why I get calls from this number.  They do not leave message.

Thanks! I'm also on the DO NOT CALL LIST. But, the original list ended after 2 years. I signed up, again and this time there is no time limit. However, I must wait 31 days for it to be active. And when it is active begining in March----I will also report them to the National Do Not Call List.  The offer that service, and I'm going use it!

Rcv'd call from them today while at work. Took forever for the guy to answer and he said when you return to school do you prefer campus or online. When I asked him what he was talking about he said it again. I told him I'm already in school and hung up.
Unsolicited and will be blocked.

Received two calls from this number, which I did not answer, at 223 this afternoon and again at 642 this evening. I do not recognize the number but it appears to be from some company in southern Missouri.

This number has called up to a half dozen time per day off and on for almost a year.  They never leave a massage and have answered and told them to stop calling but they continue to call.  Please everyone that is called by these people file a complaint.  Get this STOPPED!

They keep calling my phone and won't stop it's getting annoying... They haven't left a voicemail and it's stupid

I get several calls from this number, even at 6:30 in the morning. They call and hang up as soon as you answer. I called back once and asked to be taken off their call list and the guy was polite and said okay. After doing so, I still am receiving calls. I called back today immediately after they hung up on me again and said that I have asked to be put on do not call list and am still getting calls. The lady was rude and said "well, you're the one that called me." I started to explain that yes I did, but only because they hang up on me. She then hung up on me. What a joke, so unprofessional.

I have received a call from them each night for the last 4 nights! The first time, I answered because I didn't know who it was (and was expecting a call from the shop my vehicle is in) but alas, it was Pro Academics. I got home tonight & saw 3 missed calls, one each from the last 3 days, and looked up the number. When I saw this page I realized it was the same people. -sigh-

I called back and asked to be removed from the list. It takes 24-48 hours to be removed, and the person who answered my call did say that if I answer any calls from them then I'll be back on the list (guess it's automated as far as calling out goes?) so not to answer during that period of time. Called me today, left no message. Crazy, I know no one in MO.

Filled out job application online and either told them NO or had to fill in information as it wouldn't go to next area of application. I don't answer the calls but they continue to call numerous times.

Got several calls.  I picked up the phone and left them hanging.  Very frustrating.  They, always, seem to call me at my busiest moments.

417-730-1062 calls and it's only silence. I've been getting calls from other numbers asking me about "furthering my education", which I never inquired about and have told the called that. He was persistant even after I said I wasn't interested. I asked what part of that didn't he understand and maybe HE needed to further HIS education to learn how to listen.

This phone number calls regularly, and I won't answer or call back if they dont leave a message. THEY NEVER do, but they call sometimes 4 or 5 times a day and have been calling for months!! What is the deal, if you really want to talk to me leave a voicemail, and identify yourself! Seriously people!
