They keep calling and hanging up - no one there. Irritating.

Same as everyone else. Here is where they are. Its likely one of these two locations. Should we stop by , perhaps bringing it to them will get the point across.

I just got called as well! No message. Just hung up.

Its been bothering me how they got my phone number.. and I rememeber!  During a career fair at my school, TD came and had a draw for a prize.  They asked you fill in information, including your telephone number.  I remember the strange name Meloche Monnex somewhere on a pamphlet they gave me, and it struck me as odd. But I didn't remember until now.  So BEWARE of 'free draws' or such things offered, even if they are at career fairs!

I obtained an online quote by putting my phone #.  After 2 weeks, my phone started ringing.  I just called 800-268-8955 and asked my # to be removed.

call came in at 12:55 p.m. and person (or machine) on other end hung up.

They seem to call every day from 6pm to 7pm.  No one on the other side when it answers

**IMPORTANT READ THIS**

I have been receiving calls from 416-484-5165 every day for weeks.  There is no pattern - evenings, morning, afternoons.  It does not leave messages and it (the "dialer") may hang up when answered.  If you call this number you will get a voice message stating that the system cannot recieve calls, only makes calls.

I have confirmed that this is TD Meloche Monnex Insurance (I signed up recently for home insurance at a reduced rate for university alumni).  All new customers are, by default, put on an electronic call list.  Call 1-800-268-8955, skip the menu by pressing "0", and specify you are a customer and want to speak to a broker about your account (the receptionist who answers initially cannot help you).  Once you get through to the broker, tell him or her your phone number so the broker can look up your account.  Tell the broker that you are receiving too many calls from the call centre at 416-484-5165 and you want to be removed from the electronic call list.  The "broker" should confirm removal over the phone right then and there.  If the person cannot confirm, ask to speak to someone who can (because you are obviously not speaking to the right person).

And that should be the end of it!

Recieved a call and they said that they were Dalhousie University. Wrong area code. Definitely a scam operation.

I did get a call from TD ins. trying to sell insurance.  Same number.

We've experienced the very same thing for the past 5 days with regard to 416-484-5165.  Calls have been received daily, with either no message being left or no one on the other line when there's someone home to receive the call.  Further, the phone number is for outgoing calls only.

Called several times won't leave message. Few times am standing by the phone but refuse to answer.

I checked another website site, and they said it's TD insurance. Probably to ask if you want a quote on your home/auto insurance, since it's been a year since the last time they harassed you.. (at least, I assume that's why they're calling me)
Frankly, I'm fed up with them, and other call centers for that matter, calling and not leaving a message. Call display is a wonderful thing.

Lets get the phone number of the pres of TD Monnex and call him all day!

I called their emergency claim line, and someone took my info and promised I would be taken off. Gve me a reference number too, so hopefully legit!

They have been calling me as well, on a regular basis but I am screening their calls

They called me twice yesterday and three times today, and left no message.  

When I called the number back, I too got that "the number you have reached is equipped for outgoing calls only"
