They called.  Have had this ENTIRE area code blocked for over 1 year.

Looking back, we have received numerous calls from this area code.  Not to worry, all calls from the 417 are blocked!

You mean the Patriot Act that Bush slipped through after 911.  Bush also  signed an executive order allowing our Fourth Amendment rights to be trampled all over regarding illegal search and seizure, where NSA can spy on our own citizens WITHOUT A WARRANT, be it through e-mail, cell phones, landline phones, any form of communication.  The same exceuctive order that was kept hush-hush for 3 months until ethical, moral employees at NSA got sucpisious and started asking questions?  You mean that Patriot Act  and executive order?  What a violation of Americans' civil rights.

This call came in, but I was away from the phone and missed the call.  Forty-five minutes later they (robo) call again, from a different phone #:  360-633-9449.  Google Scam:  "...Records show you have not updated your FREE Google listing.....".  Verizon purposely makes it difficult to add these numbers to a "block list".  Why?  They make money off of them.  I don't like hassles, I don't like complications.

As for an earlier Commenter's remarks, I know more than most about the NSA's intrusion.  The NSA can track an "on" cell phone anytime they want to, they don't need Google Scams.  When the new super computers are up and running in Utah, the computers will have the power to track and "scan" every cell phone transmission in the World in real time--if they want to do so. I am past being paranoid.  I don't care.

We get calls at least 2 a week from this number..I just blocked it no one is ever on the line..

Keep getting these calls a couple times a week.  They say they are from Google.  I called Google and was told that it was not one of their numbers.

This number is associated with Google and the US Dept of Homeland Security. They make calls to verify the user/phone number that Google and the Federal government have on file. Its basically a tracking system used to monitor peoples actions. It was a clause included in Obama's healthcare plan and also his updated Patriot Act.

Chances are you have done something recently that Google has reported to Homeland Security. More often than not, its followed by a visit from the FBI. Which has been reported numerous times on the internet... then removed. Youtube also have videos of this, yet they are deleted usually within hours.

Got a call from them a couple months ago saying to be taken off the national do not call list to push a certain button, I did. Couple weeks later, got another call saying the same thing, I told them off and hung up. Now they are calling saying my Google listing is incomplete. They called again a few minutes ago, daughter got to the phone to late, I called it back only to get "all circuits are busy, try again later,

Robo Caller.  Took me to a YouTube site and handed me off to someone.  When I said I didn't want to buy they hung up on me.

This is the 6th call I have gotten in the last 24hrs. Have reported this to the State Attorney General's Do Not Call Complaint website.

It is NOT Google.  It is yet another of these spammers IMPLYING that they are Google ti get you to talk to them.  THen they try to high-pressure you into paying them to optimize your position in the search engine(s).  Do not do business with them. They are NOT legit.

I receive between 4-6 calls each day to advertise with Google.  I tell the callers to remove me from their phone list (business has been sold) but they keep calling.  The number is my cell phone and this company is taking a lot of my minutes.  What do I have to do to make them leave me alone?  I'm on the no call list but they keep calling.  Three years of harassment by Google is enough.

These idiots keep calling and hanging up!!!!

Help. Get automated calls. When I answer, real person comes on line and asks for me by name. When I say, "yes, this is Karen," they immediately hang up on me. When I call number back, it puts me on hold. Holding now for over 17 minutes. Interrupts my business and is harassing. Please...someone stop this nonsense!!
