I have received 20 calls from 417-800-2357 today. No one answers it automatically hangs up. I have added to do not call list. Very annoying

Oops, I was paying close enough attention. The number that called me ended in 2511. Sorry.

This number has called twice in the past three days with the caller id as Resrch Stdy. Like others I am on the no call list.

Robocall from Rachael again. Using donotcall.gov and fcc.gov/complaints to file reports on these calls.

Caller wanted to offer me lower interest on my credit card, there were two, a man and a woman. They asked for my credit card number, birthday, and the bank i used. I told them no thanks, They took turns trying to persuade me to change my mind, finally the man got angry and hung up, muttering a few curses. I knew they were crooks from the onset, reported them to my bank and the authorities, hope they catch these scumbags someday.

Log on to the NATIONAL DO NOT CALL COMPLAINT REGISTRY and register a complaint about this number to their secure website. I hate those annoying calls. Good luck

This number called without leaving a message. 417 is a Missouri area code, so I did not answer. Thanks to this website, I have added it to my phone's address book as "telemarket jerk" with a mute ringtone. I think by sharing information and not responding to these annoying calls, we can try to eliminate any success on their part. Reporting these to the government seems like a good idea, but my past experience is that they will simply tell you that they are unable to track down these people. You are simply wasting your time making the report.

These idiots called me 9 am on Saturday morning. Typical robo call about lowering my interest rates blah blah blah! I hate these a***ipe companies that avoid the Do Not Call registry!
Zephyrine 2013-03-01 08:22:38 Unknown
They called us on 2/27/13 and didn't leave a message. Our caller ID says that their name is Lower Interest.

Frequent calls from this telemarketer that ignores the Do Not Call list. Why is it so hard to shut them down??
RJO 2013-02-28 15:34:53 Unknown
YES, YES, Richard, you are on target; these people are professional scammers!
hexxuss 2013-02-27 22:24:51 Unknown
Got a call from this one today. Obvious scam since I've never owned a single credit card (ever). Also on the DNC list - file a complaint at the do not calls' .gov website asap - the fed gov't can take care of these scumbags.

My phone has rang 4 times from the same number and they keep calling. The call does not complete so I don't know who it is. They need to get a real job!

Always calling... please can't someone stop this????
Lab245 2013-02-26 22:34:58 Unknown
I am on the "Do Not Call List" and this number along with several others call my cell anyway. Very frustrating as I do not give my cell number out! They do not leave a message, just call and annoy me when I am working!
Joe 2013-02-26 19:11:22 Telemarketer
Just got call on landline. Rang twice and they hung up. That at least saved me some time in not having to listen to phone ring as I don't answer calls I don't recognize. As I suspected since the caller ID said "Card Services" that it was a scam call from who knows where as most scammers use Spoofing with any number they come up with. States Attornies General can't really help much as the area code on caller ID isn't the state that the calls are really coming from and they can't be easily traced if at all. Same problem with Do Not Call enforcement as the number on the ID often times isn't the real caller.

I bought a hand-held air horn at my local marine store. I just press 1 (or whatever they tell me), then wait until I get a live human voice on the line. Then... HONNNNNNNNNNNNK!!!
Don't know how much that rings their bell, but I like to think I'm getting my money's worth.

The phone calls I get from this number are telling me "this is your final notice"........I have now blocked this number form my phone since the national do not call list is about worthless in stopping these scammers.
Very annoying and I hope someone can do something about it. I have written my representatives and FCC. I will do what is necessary to have this outfit and others like it, put out of business. I am wondering why anyone would think it is a good thing to have a job calling and annoying folks who are not interested. There has to be a much better way to make a living.
jon L 2013-02-25 19:56:40 Unknown
i just don't answer unless in my address book. Don't have Voice mail. Use call log to return calls as I desire.

I am using Phone Tray Free to block calls. When the "bottom feeders" call the phone rings one time then hangs up on them. One thing I did that made this really convenient was using an old computer that had just enough resources to run Phone Tray on Windows xp. I put this in a out of the way location where I could run my phone line to the modem and then ran a KVM switch to my main computer and the old computer so I could use the same keyboard, video, and mouse for both computers. I leave the old computer on all the time to catch the unwanted calls and just use the main computer as needed. I was ready to purchase one of the phone screening devices, but as it turned out I had every thing I needed. All I had to do was a lot of googling and read a lot of posts from all you good folks so I could set every thing up and stop all the harassment from the annoying calls. This system blocks ANY calls, not just the 12 blocked calls that my phone service allowed, which everyone knows is not enough. People should not have to go through this much effort to keep from being annoyed!

Just added another number to my blocked call list. They keep calling. I keep blocking. Next?
ijdk 2013-02-22 17:47:32 Unknown
Called, no message left.
jmiller 2013-02-21 20:39:23 Unknown
get this call regularly about lower interest rates on an account - no reference to any accounts in particular at all and there is no way to stop the calls.
robert wanta 2013-02-20 21:56:38 Unknown
They call all the time about a credit card account. Im on the no call list to.
em 2013-02-20 16:57:04 Unknown
This number and 417-800-2363 are both faked numbers. There is no such combination as 417-800-xxxx. The fraudsters calling are spoofing their true number so you can't trace back to them.
However, a person reported on another complaint site that the true number behind these particular faked numbers is 772-408-1178. One of the complaints was a real eye opener.
Start reporting this to your state AG's office AND state PUC office.

john is no doubt one of "them", that has no respect for laws, and our privacy. sure wish the gov't would enforce the 'do not call' law!

Low-life scumbags seeking information for identity theft.
Do not do business with them, do not press one, just confirms your number is active.
Unlikely business calling in violation of robo-call prohibition and do not call list will honor removal requests.
