Calling me 1-2 times daily. When I follow directions to speak to a rep, it just rings and rings.

My phone number is registered on the National Do Not Call Registry so therefore they are not allowed to call me.

They use VoIP on their calls. All they do is enter a number in for the caller id to show up as. Doesn't mean its really their number. I had one call me and when called back it was a paper company in TN. If you look online there are people who use VoIP to do different things, people have made bomb threats at schools in CA from different states, and when they trace the number, its a unreal CA number. VoIP is a terrible service.

This number calls me several times a week.  I asked one of the girls to place us on their "do not call" list and she hung up on me.  It sounded like she slammed the phone down as hard as she could.  Since then they continue to call.  When i try to dial their number it rings, then there is a silence.

The FCC responds when massive amounts of people report the same robocalls.

I report every robocall I get.  If everyone did the same, the scumballs would not only be put out of business but the fines would be massive too, just another stab back at them.  If only one person reports, yeah, it wouldn't make a difference.  It's nice to know that this was a robocall, but once I find out it it, I go straight to

http://www.donotcall.gov

and file my complaint to make sure the government knows I want these people to quit calling me.  One complaint the FCC would probably ignore for sure, the beauty of the internet is that 10,000 complaints against a number can shut them down and is easily achieved, come on, don't be a victim and just complain, fight back.

If you are registered on the Do Not Call List, REPORT THEM at:

http://www.donotcall.gov

I did, it's the only way to stop these scum.  I do it every time one of these scumballs calls me.  If everyone reported every time one of these people did this, they'd stop trying to skirt the law.

The FTC filed a suit yesterday in federal court to shut down the robocalls from the so-called auto warranty company and the telemarketer actually making the calls for them.  They based this suit on the massive number of complaints they got officially, like on the ftc.gov site link.  It only takes a second to make a complaint there, and it is then officially on the books.  Never hurts to do it here, too though!

@Beavis - I appreciate your comment, but I tend to think the OPPOSITE is true - complaining here is quite helpful (especially in determining whether a number is legit or not), whereas I suspect filing a complaint with donotcall.com is really the "complete waste of everyone's time."  I hope you're right and I'm wrong, but I don't see these guys going away any time soon.  The law is only effective for the few honest telemarketers out there.

Have gotten a couple of calls from this number in the last few days. As I do with ALL calls of this type I FILE A COMPLAINT with donotcall.gov. Just complaining here alone is an absolute waste of everyone's time. FILE A COMPLAINT NOW!!!!!

I have gotten calls from them on my home phone and my cell phone. They seem to handle several telemarketing scams. "Urgent final notice...your car will be out of warranty soon." Our local news said these people are illeagle in several states but it hasn't stopped them from pestering us. They also have broken many state laws by calling cell numbers too. The lowering interest rates scam is staring back up but they are the same low life scum as the warranty scammer. Caller ID is worth it. If they can't tell you who they are don't answer the call. Especially if you try to return the call from your caller ID and it isn't a valid number.

I have received 3 calls from 850-683-1190 this week. I have not had any such calls in the past 2 years, but it seems that these jerks have found another way to get through. I believe the congress knows about these calls, because Charles Schumer, congressman from New York, was on CNN the other day, saying that he got the same call while he was in a meeting, and he thought it was his grand-daughter who was calling.

Let's hope something will be done about these calls soon.

"Urgent final notice...your car will be out of warranty soon.  Press 1 to guarantee your warranty stays in force."  Since I don't own a car...I know this is a scam.  I'm getting 5-6 of these per week...most say "private" or "non-working" number when I use call return...but this one gave a number.  I'm on the Do Not Call registry--We need a class action suit against these jerks.

This company has been leaving me 2-3 messages per week wanting to lower my credit cars rates.  I have asked them to stop twice and they abruptly hang up on me.  What do I do now!!! I don't know which credit card company this is.
