Got a call from the above number as well... 1/20/10 at 12:56 pm PST.  I answered and say Hello... He said Uh Hi... and then hung up.  Tried to recall the number and it said it was disconnected... What the heck is this??

I got a call and did not answer it. Then googled and got this info. Thanks for posting.

Has called twice this morning.  Caller speaks and then silence until disconnect.

same # - might be a Craig's list connection.  I just put my first ad on there a few weeks ago.  Strange thing is the call came to my home business line, not the # I put in my listing.

Called my number. When i answered a mans voice said hello then they disappeared and hung up. Who is this? I tried to call back twice and it says the number is disconnected.

i got a call at 10:26am i dont like to call people back so i googled it, same thing happend to me... except he just said... "Yeah Hi" didnt try to call back thouhg

im guessing that this was from craigslist... i think thats waht all of us have in common

Called me in Milton, Pa today at 2:45. I didn't answer because I was working but they left a message with the whole interest rate bu***hit. Don't know how they got my number I hardly use my cell.. although it is a tracfone and weird people call me sometimes.

This number 417 831 4177 called and left a message to call Midland ? at toll free 866 237 7637 regarding a conversation last week to reduce payments and said this was the last attempt to return the call. This is spam for sure, never spoke with anyone in this regard.

With Google Voice I get the best call screening as it goes to Spam Voicemail as a known call spammer and will not ring my other phone or send notifications.  Invites to GV are limited, but glad to have it!

I got the call from 417-831-4177. I don't answer numbers I don't know. There was a message left but the first part was cut off. What I did hear was a guy saying that this was the last courtesy call he would leave. He had noticed that I was making the minimum payments on my credit cards and that now would be a great time for me to be able to lower my credit card interest to as low as 1.5% or something rediculously low.He left a number that I could call back 866-237-7637 I have never been on Craig's list. I don't sign up for anything on the internet, and I never give this number out. Not sure how they got it. Sounds like a scam to me. I would not call them back and most certainly would not give them any of my information.

Just got a call from this number today as well. If I do not know the number I never pick up. Glad I did not. BUT - I always 'google' any number I do not recognize and I always find it on a website like this. Annoying to say the least. I DO go on Craigslist all the time, but never leave my number in a messgae, I always try and call the person I am trying to do business with.

He called me 10 min ago. He said "Hey Sean" then the phone got fuzzy and he hung up. I also used craigs list not to long ago. I also just put my resume out recently on line.

Just got a call from this number. Left message saying he could reduce my interest rate and since I was only making the min payments it would be a great time to reduce my payments. Once he said min payments I knew it was a scam because I never make just the min payments on any credit card and never have, I always pay more then the min.

Called 2 minutes ago.

I checked the phone # and brought me to here.

This person called me and said we spoke last week about me not making my credit card payments and I should call him back and he'll help me.. UM I don't even have a credit card for one.. What the heck man. And Two I never picked up his call.
