This number emailed me......but has the wrong address for me with my correct SSN.  
Also has improper grammar in the so called legal document they email me with.  LOL

I was sent the same information yesterday evening saying that i was a solicitor trying to get money from there website
and they told me to contact Sean Hudson from Holland and Hart Associate saying that i am being sue bu America Cash Advance that i old them money i never got the loan that they are saying i have.

I also just received an email from a Sean Hudson from Holland and Hart associates. It also has my old address,phone number and ssc number. I thought to look up his information and that's when I came across this site. Thank you for reporting this info so people like me would know what's going on. He provided a number of 910-565-4420;6643.

I would.  But the thing is those e-mail accounts are dropped or changed daily.  Nothing fazes those guys, no matter how many times you tell 'em that you KNOW it's a scam, they just do not stop.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

I got same email from Sean Hudson with case number saying I'm being prosecuted for a payday loan and will be fired from my job for fraud...

I received an email with my ssn and an old address from Sean Hudson.  When I called the number a middle eastern man named James Brown answered the phone. He never stayed that it was an law office. When I asked him questions he finally said that he was with the federal court. He than told me that I owe $850.30 and that I can send the money via money cards at cvs and was mart. I hung up and called back to speak with Sean hudson. He was very upset that I called back and did not want to talk to me. Told that my calls where recorded and that I heard everything James Brown and I said. I let him now that I would not send any money and hung up.  They actually called me back and asked why I was mad. This can't be real!

I just received the same email from a Senior Attorney John Hudson from Holland and Hart Associates stating I was being sued and someone would come to my place of employment (by the way I am a stay at home mom). The email had my social security and address. I found it odd because I have never taken out a cash advance and I also check my credit periodically and nothing like that is on there. When I googled the number that was left on my email (again found it odd that the email states they are in NY and they have an out of state area code), I saw that it was a scam. Should I email the guy back and let him know that he can't fool me?

Scam Scam I have been getting calls and an email today. The email had privet info and said the FBI was going to come get me. The FBI does not work this way. and they make you feel that you were sent to a person then again. But it was the same man each time. DO NOT ALLOW OR GIVE MORE INFO. If one can block the calls do so I have never call them back or email them back.

Got the same email as others here have mentioned. Smells like a scam.

I just got the same email today from the same person, same company, same amount of money (12k), saying the same thing.  They got my social wrong, and my phone number. I did not call them because I don't want them to have my new number.  But this is not the first time that these crazies have tried this crap.  Before they were calling from and I quote "The Federal Bureau of the Investigation of the USA".  And it is always someone from the Middle East.  Just ignore them, you can tell them to stop calling, but they won't until they don't think you care.  The first time they told me that they were sending the FBI to my house and that they were on the way, I told them I'll set an extra plate at the table. Of course no one every came.  The second time, I harassed them until they hung up, then I kept calling them back for like three hours. Finally they asked me to stop calling them.  It is a scam to get you to verify the information that they think they have on you.  In most cases something is incorrect, but by you calling they can try to get the correct info, and maybe get money from you as well.  They are most likely not in this country and are not subject to our laws, so my suggestion is to ignore them.

I got an email this morning from a Sean Hudson of holland andhart associates. Saying I was being sued for up to 12k!

I called him back to see what this was about. When I called the person who answered the call didn't say holland and hart associates. Just said hello. I asked to speak to Sean Hudson (gentleman who answered had a middle eastern accent) he placed me on hold then I heard some buttons and static then "Sean Hudson" came on the line. ( sounded like the same person to me ) said that I was being sued and pretty much yelled at me told me I have an hour to call back with my attorney info or the case will be filed in federal court and a warrant will be issued for my arrest.

According to the email I got a cash advance from American cash advance in 2011. I did not get any cash advances in 2011.   I looked up American cash advance. Tried to call their # to speak to someone there. The # on the website rang then turned into a fax noise...  I looked up holland and hart associates. Only found holland & hart llc

I see the notes about putting an alert on my credit. But I'm confused about that. My credit is already crap no one could get any form of credit with my info.  Would love advice on how to get these people to stop contacting me

1st this guy calls and said he was James Brown (he has a middle easter accent) he told me to hold on for his Sr Detective. He pressed some buttons in my ear and it was him again. Now saying he is name is Frank Johnson.. WTF..  He claims i took a payday loan 4 years ago. United Cash advance. He has all personal info, but my DL# was wrong. Wrong state & wrong #.  I told him that is not me. He called me a liar. I work for a law office, so I told him to talk to my lawyer (my boss), he then told me he was sending the FBI to my job. He just went on and on. I had him on speaker (thank god we had no clients) and just started harrassing him the way he harrassed me and problably other people. He started screaming said "I hate you people" and hung up.. Good Times.. LOL

This number called me twice and it didn't sound right. This "Ofc. Mike Johnson" calling from New York when clearly this is a NC area code
