They called my home at 0842 and hung up when I answered.

This is a legitimate organization.  I e-mailed this organization and they confirmed the number is their telecommunications number.

My phone is supposed to have a block to telemarketers.  This is the second # that has called constantly.  I do not answer if I don't know who is calling.  So very annoying.

The caller said he was with "veterans coalition" and wanted a donation.  Gave a list of veteran "charities" they send contributions to.  "You do want to support your military, don't you?"  I declined, in spite of the fact that he said we were former good donors. I couldn't find anything on google for this organization.  Glad this website exists!

Calling as an athletic fund raiser for the state of Ohio

Caller asked for "William", my dads name. I told them he's not here, you have the wrong number. Caller hung up without saying a word. Rude.

*Never* give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 90% for themselves and sends 10% to the charity. Best to find what charity they are collecting for, research the charity to make sure it's legit, get charity contact info from an independent source, then donate *directly* to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

**wanted a lawsuit for harrassment!**

Just got a call from this #. Asked for my parents? I'm 24 years old! Why would they want to talk to my parents?! Caller stated his name was Art calling Cops for Kids. He then wanted to know my address and was rather pushy. I gave him a false name for myself and told him I would appreciate him taking my # off of his list, unless he was a lawsuit for harrassment!

Have called twice - both times at around 8 in the evening.   I let the call go to voicemail and both times they've hung up.
