Just received call on my cell from 419-352-1051 saying 2nd notice that factory warranty on car was expiring,

Warranty about to expire on vehicle....press 9 to be removed from list.  Pressing 9 did nothing.

Yep, I got one of these from this exact number. I just don't answer calls from unknown area codes so they will have to call a long time to ever reach ME.

Receive a call from them at 10am almost every morning

I got said number on my CELL PHONE. Automated Warranty message, sopke to "Nathan", asked told to remove my number and am repoting to the Federal Trade Commission. I counted appx 3 relays..

I got this phone number on my company-issued blackberry. I am only supposed to use it for email, so I have the ringer turned off. Suckers! I hope they had to pay for the call.

I also received a phone call from this number.  Completely unknown to me and out of area (way out of area), so I didn't even bother to answer the phone call.

From what I'm reading here, it seems it is a telemarketer / scam phone call.  Just ignore them.  Completely unknown how they got my T-Mobile cell phone number though.

Received call. Did not recognize number so did not answer. No voice mail left.  Googled number and very surprised to find this!

They keep calling me over and over.

These car warranty companies are shady because there is no one to police the insurance policy they sell you, don't buy into this scam.

These companies get your money and then change their name

Caller hung up when I answered.  Before I answered I assumed it was a soliciation call because of the caller id info.  Since we are a local utility providor, most of the time I do not answer calls from numbers / parties outside of our service area.  If it is important, the caller can leave a voice mail message in our mailbox.  Thank you whoever it is that invented Caller ID!

i received a phone call from 419-352-1051 stating my car warranty expired. what a BS. who could be doing this? i know spoofing is piece of cake technology nowadays. but should someone stop this scam bags. these pigs are going to be in HELL for ever and i wish them nothing but HELL fire.

They called, and I didn't answer.  From the entries here, it sounds like just a continuation of a scam for which I have been called repeatedly on both my cell phone and my home phone from different numbers (I believe they spoof the caller ID).

Got call from this number and as soon as I answered, I could hear it click to hang up.  I called the number back and 1st time was busy and 2nd time said "number no longer in service". Sounds fishy to me.

Have had others calls from same type of Car Warranty people.

Did not answer......unwanted call.

This number called me today then hung up. When i called it back, it was disconected. Something is weird with it though because sometimes it will right away go to disconnected, other times it rings a few times first, and sometimes its "busy" somethings fishy....

I have received four calls from these folks to date.  I have asked them several times to remove me and/or what car of mine were we calling about.  They are not able to tell me which vehicle and have assured me that they are removing me from the list.  

I certainly don't believe it!

Got a call saying something about car insurance when I don't even have a car. They are just dialing random numbers. Can't somebody take action against these guys?

Just saw I had a voicemail and it was the same such thing as above. Hilarious as I do not own a car lol

I have been receiving calls on my cell from these people non-stop from a variety of phone numbers (508-534-1282, 702-520-1392, 240-210-7138, 818-870-5037). I'd like to point a couple things out. One, I haven't owned a vehicle in over five years. Two, they've also been harrassing my 12 year old sister on her cell phone. Seems pretty obvious they're using a war-dialer to call every number they can regardless of privacy and DNC laws. The last time I picked up and got a rep, I just held my phone to my computer speakers and cranked up the volume & bass on full. They got an earful of the DropKick Murphy's needless to say.

Called my cell phone.  This is the third call I've gotten from them, one at the house, two on the cell. Last one had a caller id of a number in Vermont.  On the home call I asked Comcast if they could track the actual number, but they said no.  Not holding out any hope for AT&T.

Given the ease of forging caller-id, I suspect we'll be seeing many, many more of these.

An obvious scam - I'm pretty sure that car warranty business has some paperwork to go with it.  Did not waste time trying to question the person (who lives in Bowling Green, OH according to the area codes BTW)

Just received a call on my cell from 419-352-1051 ... same scoop as Travis... except that this is a work issued cell with no cars attached....

This was about the 4th similar call 4 different numbers....all which were defunct, so I engaged the call person in a chat.  She claims to be calling from a call center in Phoenix AZ.... no idea why a Bowling Green number would show on the cell.  Company has no website "that she knows of" and says that the cell number was on a list that the warranty company purchased.... hard to believe since the gov. department I work for has no car....

Supposedly the company's name is called "Consumer Services" with her division the "Warranty Services" division.  Call person talks like a teenager..... last time I chatted with someone at the center she hung up on me as soon as I questioned the car thing...."What car do you think I have"

Just received call on my cell from 419-352-1051 saying 2nd notice that factory warranty on car was expiring, not true since car less than 1 year old and mortgage company has my home, not my cell number.

Same situation as 419 947-5410 a couple days earlier. Message left was to press 9 to be removed, in the same voice.

Car warranty expired called at 8:45pm. We asked to be removed from list, he verified number, and said we were removed.
