I got the same msg, asking for a name that lived here. I told them the person was in prison for murder and that by the time they got out, they wouldn't be interested in your (the texter) saggy self (tried to keep it clean)!!! didn't get anymore texts!!

They texted me using my real name saying it had been a while since we had talked and asked me to add them on yahoo messenger as txtiechick. It scares me how someone could get my number and know my name from Ohio what in the world is this and how did they get my phone number and my name?

Received a text message on my cell...yes, they used my real name; ask if I was "there" & they had not heard from me for awhile. I wrote back: who's this? They said their phone battery was almost dead and to talk through "Y".

Received a text from this number, and they used my name to sound like a friend I haven't heard from in awhile. But then they said to find out who it was, I had to add them on Yahoo Messenger. I replied that I don't use Yahoo Messenger and asked how they got my # and I got no reply.

reverse lookup says it is from Haviland, Ohio. I do not know anyone from Ohio. I am not responding.
