ok i have recieved my magizines but no $1000 shopping spree. does anyone know how i could go about getting them to stop my membership. I have told one lady to cancel my order and she said she would. but i still keep gettin magz. And everytime i call its a busy signal. Stupid me for falling for this bs!!! Lessoned learned!

Chick called my phone. Asking for my boyfriend. Said that he was picked for a $1000 online shopping spree. Told her that he's at work and won't be home til 5. Hopefully bi*** won't call back.

They called me today and said I won a $1,000 shopping spree it sounded convincing, but I guess it wasn't something needs to be done to get them caught.

received a call from this number twice and left no number. once i returned the call no one answered.

They just called me a little while ago saying that I had won a $500.00 shopping spree.  They called on my cell and I knew it was a scam so I said no thank you and I hung up them because I didn't want to use my minutes talking to them.  They called on 4/16/08.  Thank you.

Got the same calls only mine was $1000... Lady tried to be all friendly I told her the $3.85 was too much so she lowered it to $2 something...Transfered my call to this other guy in which he asked me about my credit card..told him my name and expiration date..and then he said that it shows on their account that the mastercard I use begins with a 5 and that I needed to verify the rest of the numbers...Thought about it for a minute and realized every mastercard I see, the numbers start with 5 so automatically got a bad feeling and hung up. They called back but I shut my phone off.

this number or business whatever they are is a bunch of b***s*** i had to cuss out 3 different people! DONT ANSWER UR PHONE!! for this number. Or you can just tell them F*** OFF =)

Got several calls from my "VISA, MC or Discover card" company giving me a special deal 'cause I was so great - I'd won $500 (yeah, right) - so I just kept listening...Then they said I could have 6 magazines for only $3.85 per week. That's when I hung up. How do these losers keep getting our numbers?!?!

They aren't a scam.  They are a telemarketing firm.

This Julie lady called my wife today and said she had won the same thing, $500 shopping spree.  So i call her and ask for her last name and she says ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............Sergio.  Hmmmm? SOmeone doing telemarketing that doesn't even know there last name. So I told her I was gonna report there "SCAM" and she immediately hung up, go figure.  Let me know what happens to yall

Called again today, and I told them I had passed away... the lady was very nice and said she would take me off their calling list. So I think thats what I am going to say to the other numbers...

It is a given that I didn't say I...I said she has passed away...

I also have received 10 calls in the last week from 201-257-4210, 423-317-0542 and 773-203-6419 and "Unavailable".  With my calls, the were looking for a "Jackson" who allegedly owes some debt.  One woman got abusive when I told her to take my number off my listing because I'm not Jackson and was tired of their calls.

Got several calls of this nature from the same town, same info on the lookup, and they said "Hello, Heather, can you hear me okay?" and I said yes. and they continued, "I am just calling to tell you that you have won 500$ from publisher. . .background noise...click" so I am pretty sure this is just some scam because I received one call 201-257-4210 from NJ on wednesday, 773-203-6419 from IL on Wednesday, 423-317-9594 from TN on thursday, another one from the aformentioned number on Thursday, and then the one tonight which I actually answered from 423-317-0542 also TN.
Sounds like a total scam.

I've been getting several calls the past couple of days from these two numbers: 423-317-0554 and 423-317-8221. They don't leave a message. I yahoo'd them and this is what showed up in the yellow pages...

several missed calls from this phone number and another similar number

Ever since I applied for a car loan online I have been getting all sorts of missed calls from this phone number, various 1-866-#'s, another #: 284-269-5918 and another #: 757-416-8268. But, it's ever since I applied for a car loan online. As well, I have a debt that I owe to a company. Wondering if anybody else has a similar situation ?? And what kind of scam could they pull over a phone? It seems like they are wasting alot of valuable time and money.

I got 2 calls from 423-317-0542. The phone rang 4 times and hung up. Called
back and got a busy signal. 4 rings is not enough time to get the phone. They left no messages.

They called me on my cell and I would like to know how they got the number. I know I should of asked but I had a feeling it was a scam and I said no thank you and hung up on them.  They told me the same thing that I won a $500.00 shopping spree.  I just hung up because I didn't want my minutes to be used by them.  Thank you.

Missed call, no voicemail

They called me and said that it was on record that i had a visa/mastercard and had won a 500 dollar shopping spree i had to pay shipping and handling...I hope the fact that i just kept saying yeah and ok and whatever doesn't mean i verbally agreed to pay anything i didn't know wtf they were talking about but I was just listening they called from two different numbers...they said they had it in the mail to me...WTF?

THIS IS A SCAM - THEY KEEP CALLING FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS SAYING THAT THEY ARE FROM A PUBLISHERS CLEARINGHOUSE AND DO YOU HAVE A CREDIT CARD?  AS SOON AS YOU SAY NO OR NOT INTERESTED THEY HANG UP!

This could be a "SCAM" do not answer the call...if anything call your provider and have the number blocked...they have been trying to contact me, but I don't answer.

They called once today (1:20PM EST) but didn't leave a message.  I did a reverse phone # look-up on whitepages.com and got this information: Mountain Area Cmcn 2, 3635 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814.  I tried looking up the business name up in google and nothing comes up - probably some sort of telemarketing company. . . . if they call back i'll try to answer and get more information.

I had a couple of miss call from this number. i call them back and a women answer. she ask for my name and phone number nad said she was going to pull my file and have someone call me back. i ask where they was from and she said morrisn town,tenesse. i call 411 and got he address and and stuff
