Same story as everyone else...got a text that said "hi Alyx.." and I asked who it was and they never responded. I assume they got it from facebook because that's the only record that has my nickname...and my number is on my facebook. Probably should consider taking that off

I recieved a text from this number, they knew my name and they said to add them on Yahoo Messenger, ID txtiechick553.

I received a text from this number and when I replied asking who it might be the response was: "haha if you wanna know who this is u got to add me on Yahoo manger, my I'd is txtgirl83"

Forward the text to 7726:
Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation?s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

I got a call from this number and somehow knew my name and wanted me to join them on yahoo messenger and they said their name was textflirter06 & when I tried to message w them they never returned

I got a text from this number on October 30th also. They said hola Kris. Somehow they know my name but have not replied to several texts. I also received a phone call from a strange number the next day. 21212121. In the past I have found that scammers use these weird numbers and Verizon won't block them unless they are a 10 digit number. Maybe if you reply they know that your number is valid.

I received a text message from this number on oct 30th saying "Hey Mary!". How they know my name I don't know. Facebook maybe? They didn't answer when asked who it was.

Received a text message from this number. I am on the do not call list and plan on reporting this to the authorities.
