This number showed up repeatedly on my called ID for about three weeks, but no messages were left.  I thought it was probably a telemarketer.  Finally, when I answered the call on 4/3/09, the caller asked, "Is Linda home?"  I usually respond with "Who's calling?"; but that time I absentmindedly answered in the affirmative.  When I did that, the caller hung up.  That seemed strange to me, but I haven't received any more calls from that number.  I did a reverse call lookup for the number and learned that it's a cellphone from Limestone, TN, with no name available.

Called today and didn't leave A message. Caller ID said unknown name.

Received this call daily from Limestone, TN. Sometimes 2 to 3 times a day.
When I called back to see if they would stop calling, it sounds like a Fax machine or computer picks up the call.
What is this, does anyone know?

Called me and ask for me by my name. When I responed that was me that she ask for she didn't say anything. Then the phone recording came on and ask if I wanted to make A call.

Get calls from this # very often - most recent 8 AM this morning (the one morning I was going to be able to sleep in a bit after many long work hours!) When I've answered it is always the same woman who always asks for my husband by 'William'(which he never goes by).  Each time I've stated that we need to be put on their "Do Not Call List".  This morning she was agreeable, as she has been some of the times in the past but she obviously does nothing.  Other times she's very insistant that "William is the only one who can do that"  The name on the caller Id is Tennessee with only 1 'n'.  The Number is Not a Fax machine (at least it does not accept any incoming faxes) although you do hear similar tones.

WE were under the understanding that DO NOT CALL REGISTRY MEANT JUST THAT DO NOT CALL...get calls from this number daily with no message left on machine!!

CALLS AT LEASE TWICE A DAY, WHEN CALLED BACK IT IS A FAX MACHINE

This number repeatedly calls throughout the day. We have counted at least 12 plus calls just in the last 4 or 5 days. They ask for my husband or myself but hang up as soon as one of us ask who is calling. They need to stop ASAP. My husband is really sick and needs his rest this is very annoying and rude.

Calls at least once every day - wish they would stop calling.

This number calls almost every morning at 8:00am.  I finally answered it today and no one said anything.  It is getting very annoying!!

Called several times. When I answered once, a man asked for my husband and hung up.

The call was from Limestone Tenn., when I answered I could hear voices in the background and then silence when I repeated Hello. It is the first call but it was just seconds from hanging up from a toll free service call for cancer research. The caller seemed to have a southern accent.

Woman called, whispering in the phone.  Told her not to call again.  Told me to "shut up"!
