Call @ 20:30. No message left

Received a "call" from this number at least 3 times in the past week. Never leaves a message!

It's a market research company.  I think it's called "Wilkinson Research."  They're not bound by do not call lists because they don't try to sell you anything and DNC lists are specifically geared towards telemarketers.  That doesn't mean it's any less annoying to be bothered at home, of course.

i recieved multiple calls from this number.
and there's no way to block it,
because it says it's out of service.
why???

I received a call today from this number and no one said a word. I don't appreciate this type of call.  I think that people who do this should be in jail.

Just got a call from this # and like some others have said, not a word. Strange.
Also why don't they have their name come up on caller ID? Just the # twice.

Recived several calls, latest at 9:05PM! have not picked up but after 9PM is a no no in my book.

this number call me at 8:30 and did not leave a message.  Must be a telemarketer.

Got the same call, about 8:45 pm. Again nothing there, have been getting a lot of calls like this from other numbers as well.

Got a friend in the FBI, owes me a favor.  He said he'd look it up and get back with me.  I told him I wanted all the information including phone numbers of those involved.  Can't wait for the results...I will post them as soon as I can.  Until them Happy New Year!!

We received a call from this # and the message recorded in our voicemail sounded like a man mastur#$%^@!!!!  My daughters are always running to answer the phone, I'm glad we weren't home when he called.

Got a call with no sound and no response to my greetings, I was worried it could be someone hurt or worse. Did a google and found this, what a telephone jerk...people who do this should be sent to jail and do community service for years.

Received 2 calls in the last 2 days. Did not pick up as I did not know the number.  Area code is from Tennessee. I live Ontario, Canada.

Received a call at dinner time on a Saturday night. It interrupted dinner and when we answered it, no one was on the other end. just plan annoying.

Same as email unsubscribe.  Could be just validating that random emails address works.

called me with an out of area number so i answered it, was a woman
with a weird accent from wilkins research, wanted to do survey about radio in chicago and wanted the participant to be female. Wonder if they are just doing check marks on people to spam them better.

This "Market research" company calls me regularly despite my requests to be put on their Do Not Call list.  The problem with Wilkins Research, the company in question, is that they are American, but they are currently involved in a marketing campaign on behalf of a Canadian radio station.  Canadians cannot sign up for the American Do Not Call registry, from which they would be exempt anyway because they are a "market research" firm, and they do not have to abide by our laws in Canada.

I have a problem with people using my telephone service to harass me in my home, since I pay for the service for my own convenience, not theirs!  If my telephone service was free I might not take issue with telemarketers and market researchers quite so profoundly!

On another board someone said they called the company at their general number, asked not to be called, and apparently the company agreed.  Somehow I doubt they will cease their calls.  They have carte blanche access to Canadian homes to harass us at their leisure because neither country's laws seem to apply to their cross-border activities.  If I'm wrong I'd love to know.

I wish that these a***oles from Wilkins were getting these calls night and day, and waked there infants up in the middle of the day. These are the most incosiderate b****eads on earth. If i lived in Tennessee I would look them up and stomp there a***s. If I ever speak to someone there i will track them down and beat them to a pulp.

SOME IDIOT CALLED WANTING TO DO A SURVEY, I TOLD HIM NOT TO CALL EVER AGAIN, DON'T KNOW IF THAT WILL DO ANY GOOD OR NOT.  AS YOU CAN SEE THESE SHISTERS HAVE BEEN MAKING CRANK CALLS ALL OVER THE NATION JUST FOR FUN, HAD AN OUTFIT CALL FROM EVERGREEN, COLORADO DOING THE SAME THING, THE LOCAL POLICE WENT ON OVER AND TOLD THEM IN PERSON TO KNOW IT OFF OR ELSE, WE MAY HAVE TO DO THE SAME WITH THESE RED NECK WHITETRASH IN TENNESSEE!

I have gotten the call also, multiple times. They are Wilkins Research. Their real phone number is 423 894 9478. Give them a call and hang up. Better yet, make up the largest bold font message possible and FAX it to them at 423 894 0942 and ask them politely to stop calling you. Save the message and fax it every time they call. Think of the toner and paper it will use! Maybe they will get the message!

I picked up the phone and was asked for my opinion. The lady was polite and asked what age group I was in and also my favorite radio station in the area. She thanked me for my time and then hung up.

Got a call, picked up, "lady" said she was doing market research.  I hung up.  I don't know how they got my cell phone #.

This number calls and just hangs up. Very annoying night after night. PLEASE STOP.
