Called me asking if I would take their survey... They were interested which news network I watched . Told them not interested,then they began to ask me what kind of music I listened to.. I finally just told them that I charge $12.99 a minute for the first 5 minutes, $21.99 every minute there after.. Guy was dumbfounded...told me they don't pay to receive answers ,to which I responded , I don't give out information for nothing... Nothing like screwing with morons on a beautiful Saturday morning..!!!

Got a call from this number which is NOT in Canada.  Apparently doing a radio listening survey.  NOT AT ALL INTERESTED SO HUNG UP.

Exactly who is Wilkins? Keep in mind that we have an enormous number of survey for hire companies in Canada...so why is a US based company doing this. I've been on their 'hit list' before and always block them. Let's face it...the world can stand not to know what toilet bowl cleaners / beer / aftershave /  political views / radio stations/ etc I use. So...get lost Wilkins and other  so-called  'survey' companies.

While survey/research companies are exempt from the do not call lists, they MUST add your name/number to their internal do not call list and stop calling you if you request them to.  Otherwise, they ARE subject to penalties, just as scofflaw telemarketers are subject to them.

i was going to report them to the crtc but i found that out so nothing we canadians can do expect contact the crtc and request survey companies are classified as telemarketers.

I kinda panicked when I got the call. The question she asked should have required me to say hello yes and my name. I watch all these news reports on people recording your answers so I just stayed quiet then hang up.

It is illegal to call my telephone number in Canada as it is on the federal do not call list.  So these toe-rags get the do not call list think the Marines will protect them when we enraged Canadians invade their call centre, armed with big bowls of hot steaming poutine?

You work for a company that harasses people and you think that is alright? You aren't selling anything and you believe that? So your company doesn't sell the information that they collect? Does your company pay for all the phone services of the people you harass? You have no right to harass anyone no matter how you spin the wording of the Do Not Call list. Being polite with people who call people for a living gets you nowhere. If you want people to be polite with you, get a different job.

SPAM - Called to pester me and didn't connect. It is Wilkens Research out of Chattanooga, TN

Calling and hanging up when not answered repeatedly all hours. Annoying!!!

This company repeatedly calls our home in Colorado after 9pm - I have tried being polite while indicating that I am not interested and also in relaying that, at the least, state law prohibits this type of call after 8:30p.  Someone needs to investigate their practices and responses to the disinterest and unwillingness of the person paying for the phone they are calling as well as violations to state laws.

Unless these research companies are willing to pay me for my time, I will continue to ignore their calls. I don't answer any calls on the landline anymore. I might end up getting rid of it, because only survey/research companies and scammers call it. Other than the random late night calls from NYC trying to get a cab because they dialed the area code incorrectly.

Took the survey. Answer with the complete opposite I would normally. lol

block this number , you will not receive any more calls,  if you do not know how to block this number then you should call your telephone service provider,  they will help you to understand how to block an unwanted number from calling your phone,   GOOD LUCK,  PUT DOWN THE PROZAC, AND BLOCK THOSE ANNOYING CALLER,   HAVE A GREAT DAY,,

1) they been calling others on 800notes (thank you 800notes participants),
2) left no message

They called at 8:45pm - obviously they do feel disturbing people late is OK.

Whether they are a "legit" survey company or not, I don't think any company or whatever, should be calling that late except when you have specifically told them to do so.

None of that matters though since I never answer calls I do not recognize (that's at least 19 of 20 calls for me) and will never take a phone survey for any reason. Most are scams and the few that may not be are too much trouble. Years ago I agreed to answer questions for some survey which they said would take no more than "5 minutes" --- about 50 questions later, and at least 25 minutes, I told them I had to go and hung up on them.....all the while they kept trying to say they were almost done...

Wilkins Research is the name that came up on my caller ID today.  I wasn't here to answer.

What's the point of being signed up with Do Not Call if some companies are exempt from list.  Do not call means I do not want any calls from strangers.

Unsure why I get phone calls from this number, and when I answer, no one is on the other line. These calls are unwanted.

Just received a call from this number. Caller ID said "Wilkins Research."  Didn't answer. Came here instead.

Went to their website at http://www.wilkinsresearch.net and left a "Contact Us" message (NOT an email!) asking for my number to be removed from their Call List. Hopefully, that will work!

Everyday a new call from a new strange number. I block a number with my call block and then a new number pops up with a new survey co or research co or rip off artist co. ughhhh !

This is not the first time this numer has called my cell phone which is a private number for me since I do not give it out to anyone I do not know and it is on the do not call registry but that obviously means nothing anymore.  They never leave a message and I will never pick up the call.
