They told me there was a law suit against me. I told them to so calling and to send me a letter in the mail. The man was persistent after I hung up on him that he called me back 4 times. He sounded like a solicitor and so did the background noise. Its illegal to harass. I had to block this number through my cell provider.

They called my job today saying that there was a lawsuit against me. They gave me all of my personal info.. they asked me how did I want to handle the lawsuit.. I immediately went off on them.. they've already gotten over 200 dollars from my cousin.. I told them that no one has given ne any money and that I've never signed any papers and they hung up!!

OMG i just got a called and they said they had my bank information and that i took out a loan last year (one of those cash advances) and I didnt ....this is bull crap....i hate this people.  they sounded chinese to me who knows....

They keep calling my cell phone and my Husbadns job looking for him, finally I answered the phone asked for the address and was givien 1100 Wilshire Blvd Ste. 1700, LA, CA 90027   When I asked for a file number he said their was not one.  I told they I knew they were a scam and my husband did not have a loan since he doesn't even have a checking account and he insisted I was wrong.  After I hung up on him, he called four more times and finally left a message saying tnow the file was goingto court for federal charges.  They are such a joke, and a pain in the a**.

They have been doing this to me for months now with tons of different numbers.  I have made contact with our local PD and they said this has been going on for a long time.  These people were even on Inside Edition because they are doing this.  They call probably 20 times in a row to my work.  The PD said that they are very hard to catch because most of the time they are calling from India but route the call here with one of our numbers.

they called me friday on the 1st saying they have an affidavit in my name... i never received anything from these people... i asked for proof and told them w.e. they think they have send it to my correspondence i may be twenty but im not Effing stupid!!! its a scam

Just got two phone calls from them today.  Told them I did not have a payday loan title loan or anything. Asked for a case number too?  I said to send all info to my address. Told them I would contact local PD and the Federal Trade Commission.  He said you want to talk to FBI? No, I said  I will contact FTC.  Supposedly contacted the LA county FBI Office, not.  Another Indian guy. Called himself a FBI officer not agent.  Gave me a badge number that was not long enough.  My father had been in law enforcement for over twenty years.  Told him what was said and said If it was a real suit a court officer or someone of that nature would come to your house and serve you papers.  So, this is definitely a scam.  I am going to report this number to my county sheriffs office

Yes these guys have a heavy Indian accent and told me F##k off and now we get a bogus answer machine. We have them now. Some one who lives near them should call them and tell them to come to the front office. Then call Keven and ask him what apartment came to see him at the front office. Then we can report them to the police. We would do it but our area code is Florida and they know we know .
I was threatened with a court case of fraud and check writing? Only problem is I don't write checks. They even left a number to call back. We called back and tracked this number 424-258-4093 by calling the number and acting like a pizza hut in the area lost and the idiot gave us the address. 1100 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angelos Ca. 90017. And before we could finish some one grabbed the phone and hung up. We called back and they answered and where very upset that we found them. Only problem is there is 200 residents in the building. We called the front office spoke to Kevin at the front office 213-482-2601. He told us there's 200 residents in the building that we must know the Apt. number. If there is anyone who lives there these guys need to be stopped. Maybe you can figure a way to get there apartment number and turn them in?

thank you for the info .... I am doing that... I never I took  any loan out ..... there full of it... I am sure its a scammer ... how can I report them I don't even know who they are....I only got a number..

Ask them for proof that you owe the money.  Have them send it to your home.  

They have information on you.  If they don't have your home address - or claim they don't - thats more evidence that its a scam.  If the information never arrives thats proof that its a scam.

If something does arrive, check the name and social security number.  Make sure it really is yours.  And check your financial records.  Make sure the debt is real.  Don't give them any money until they prove that you took out a loan and didn't pay it back.  


Your cell provider can probably block the calls.  If they can't, or if they charge for blocking,  put the pest's phone number in your contacts list and assign them the ring tone "no ring".

It is a call center of indian people telling me that they are with a law firm.  When I ask for documentation they are talking about,they refuse.  They are asking me to verify my social security!
