I received a text from "Bridget Haves" this morning. Easy to spot as a scammer. Phone numer (469) 563-2462.

Same interaction here with the same person texting me over my guitar on craigslist....I hope they get busted asap...People like this make se sick!!!!

It was to good to be true, a day after posting on craigslist, I got a txt message from Bridget Haves....the same story: a US Army Veteran, presently off shore, unable to inspect item, sending shipper to pick up item and using pay-pal to pay. Thanks for this site to know of other complaints.

Craigslist Scammer!!!

I have been texted by this number today. Just said in military, I was weary from the beginning. Would pay my asking price for a horn. "Trusting" me that it is as good as I say it is. I'm sorry but if I am paying over 1000 for an instrument, I think I would want to see it and try it out. Thanks everyone for posting on this site. I just texted them to stop texting me.

Mine was Jesse James as well, however, "she" told me she was in the Army, not the Coast Guard, (stationed out of Camp Butler in Illinois but presently deployed offshore, LOL)....What's funny to me is that, #1, their English/grammar is so terrible. #2, they say that they can't talk on the phone because of no access to phones at their "deployed location" but yet, they're texting me.
    This is the 3rd or 4th time I've received these type of texts when I have something for sale on Craigslist. This time it was a guitar I have for sale. They said they would "deploy a pick up firm to pick up your musical instrument" when I open a Paypal account. I though I'd heard it all, hahaha. The BEST ONE I had so far was a few months ago. I had something for sale and got one of these texts, and I asked why they couldn't TALK on the phone with me, instead of just TEXTING and they said.........(wait for it.....).....she was DEAF. Hahahahahaha. I'm out, peace ya'll!!!

Same thing here... a jesse james veteran would not come inspect item in person and wanted to pay right away via PayPal.  Big red flag

Got a reply to a Craigslist ad from this number via text.  Started sounding fishy when they kept asking for my paypal information and asking me to sign up.  Claimed to be a woman in the USCG Air Station.
