A mean/rude man named Richard Scott looking for a person (Don't know) or is a dead realative.  Called from # 424-644-6654.  Would not give any info but was harrassing and said needed to send a certified letter back as it was returned.  I have no real clue about any of this, but it really is upsetting as my # was unlisted, and how did he know my name?

they are calling because they are a collections agency using bad practices to get people to call. I am about to sue this company. Please join me. They use whatever tactic they can to get you to call

Look like Richard is calling a lot of people. He just called me on my Credit card bill and told me to "Stop playing this damn game". They are a collection agency that is trying to scared you into paying some very old bills you might have not paid in the pass. What is going on is this bill is about to drop off your credit so these company buy the loan for pennies on the dollar and try to collect. If you paid great they make money if you don’t pay they just lost 20 or 30 bucks on a 800 loan. What they don’t tell you if you do paid the bill it will be on your credit for 7 more years. Best thing is not to pay them and put them out of business. If it has been more than 6 years they are not going to come sue you for even credit card bill. The Credit Card place already wrote your bad debt as a off as a business lost. I got all this info because I use work in a
collection agency.

same number called me telling me I was irresponsible and dont have my kids because he saw that I pay child support and I had a judgement against me.  I cant belive they would go that far to dig in your personal stuff and throw it in your face.  it is a bill from 2000.

I recieved a call on my cell phone. I never answer numbers I do not know. I let the call go to voice mail. I looked up this number online and found this info before I even checked the voice mail that was left. When I did check the voice mail it was a lady by the name of Lyn who said she was with CRA and really needed to talk to me about my file and she even give a file number and she said that it was really important that I call her back "today". I will not call back and if they keep calling my phone there will be a problem. Also the number she give me to call her back on is 877-245-1482

I received a call from this number today. A very RUDE woman asked if I was (insert my name here). She said she was calling to verify that I was a relative of Robert Carlson. I had her repeat the name. I told her no. She informed me this Robert Carlson had me listed as a RELATIVE. I asked ON WHAT? This is when she became very rude. She said she couldn't not tell me, it was private and none of my business. I insisted it was if some person I don't know had me listed as a freakin' relative! I asked the name of the company she worked for, she said "CRA". I asked what kind of company, and she replied "a processing firm". Of what I don't know, because she hung up on me.
Extremely rude, and alarming, as I am sat here at 11pm still trying to figure this out.

i got that same call today from 424-644-6654 - a crazy man that called himself Richard Scott - left msg. stating he needed to re-send a certified letter to his victim (debtor) because the one he sent before was returned. this is obviously a bogus tactic used to gather more info from the person that answers the phone - he will try to confirm addresses and phone numbers and whereabouts - he even researched info about the phone number he is calling - gets name (and any other available info) of the registered phone owner - and uses that name when initiating his info grabbing attack.

so - reverse searched this creeps # and found that it is a landline located in malibu area of calif. - (424) 644-6654 is a land line based in Malibu, CA - The registered service provider is Charter Fiberlink**.

can anyone out there find out more about this character ?

man named richard scott calling/leaving messages with relatives regarding returned certified letter but won't say who he is- very disturbing!
