I promptly reported this number to the FCC as a violation of the do not call registry. I did not respond to the text. That is an invitation for more harrasment by responding to slime like this.

Can't they be reported to the FTC? If you try to unsubscribe they require your email, name, and phone number. I made a fake email account, gave them my number, since they have it anyway, and it does not unsubscribe you. Says something about paydays have to 1day in advance from the second date and a lot of other nonsense that has nothing to do with unsubscribing.

chkadvance.com for money advance. reply with text "stop" to opt out... sounds fishy.

This is a classic phishing scam.

Note the spelling mistakes and poor grammar, as well as the redirect to a website asking for personal information. Do not relpy, just delete the message.
