Found a call from this number on my answering system.  I have it recorded and will notify the police.  The person identified themselves as Chris Evens from the Department of Legal Affairs (he had a heavy accent possibly from India).  He said there was an enforcement action against me and I needed to call the number back immediately or I was in big trouble.  It's insulting that this person would think someone would fall for this ridiculous scam, but I bet some do.  It's a shame.  Hope the police can do something.

I got a call from this number.  Man with heavy accent identified himself as John Maxwell with the US Treasury and they were preparing to take me to court and that as soon as I hung up, I would get a call from an IRS agent.  That I was in big trouble.  I did get a call from someone identifying himself as Agent Rex Reed (who sounded like John Maxwell) who instructed me to call back the original number and make payment arrangements, including a payment within the next hour, or I would be arrested.  I called the original number back and this time he identified himself as Rex Reed instead of John Maxwell.  I thought it sounded like the same voice.  Except he screwed up and mixed his names up!!!  This is a total scam!!!!

Got a call from the male voice stating he was from the US Treasury . He also state there was action against me. Ending with the note that if I don't respond I would be in big trouble.  Sound like a scam call to me. If there was legal action against me I am sure I would of got a legal notice from the government.
