Got a hangup from this number. Caller ID said "Advance Systems"  

When I answered, as others mentioned, just heard typing in the background.  Said hello twice and then someone came on the line and the typing stopped.  Asked for my husband.  I said yes.  Said he was from the National Police Hotline and wanted a one time donation.  I said no and hung up

So-called "Nigerian" scams ?

Call from Advanced Systems today at 2:20 - I usually don't answer those calls but did today and a man's voice asked to speak to me (said my name) - I (not too politely) said "who is calling?" and he hung up.  I do not have my resume anywhere out there so,,,,,next call from them I will answer & immediately hang up,,,OR,,,better yet, tie their phone lines up awhile by answering - saying nothing - putting the phone down & walking away until they're able to close the line and make their next annoying and intrusive call :-)

ID said "Advanced Systems".  I didn't answer, no message left.

Oh, and I don't have a resume on the web.

Our phone rang & this phone # came up on our caller ID, showing the name of the caller as Advanced Systems. We chose not to answer the call, so after 4 rings, a live person came on. We thought he would simply leave a message, but instead, he said my elderly mom's first name... twice, then hung up! Looking into the details of the call on our phone, turns out the call was coming from Bellview, WA. I tried calling the phone # back a couple times, but an automated answering machine would answer each time, immediately hanging up the call. I believe this was a telephone scammer, so beware of this phone # - don't answer the call!!!!

Received a call.

Same thing-- National Police and when I answered only some static with no real substance.  Called back too and got the same thing.  

Recieved call from this number at 3:25 PDT today and they left no message. I don't answer unless I know who's calling. Caller ID says "National Police UI" which is intersting considering the above post ID says it showed as "Advanced Systems". Assume it's just another telemarketing scam.

Called twice yesterday, I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Called today, when I picked up, I could hear the person on the phone typing, but they didn't respond after I said "hello" twice, and then they hung up. Don't know what purpose they could have in this, but I don't care, and have now blocked this number.

Unknown number from Advanced Systems 425-201-1180.  Area code is in Washinton State.  didn't answer call & they left no message.
