Caller is most likely from India.  Many recruiters here have an separate extension off of this PBX line.  
Can always contact a local city phone number and talk to localized recruiter.
For 425 area code contacts, office is either Bellevue; although, Seattle also has an office.

I seems to be a rerouting gateway or type of phone firewall.  They can call out under one number, but you can't call back unless they give you a different number to call.  I got a call from 'el Tek Professional Services' (if I understood her accent right) for opportunities through Amazon.  Could be true, but I'm not going to pursue the lead.  I'm looking for work, but not that desperate.  If it was from India, then they have another rerouting gateway in Baltimore, MD. (Around that area) because they gave me a 410-777-5075 on the message to call back to if I was interested

I too got a call from 4252161639 from a lady I think was from india. Heavy accent after the first time they called from a 4044001124 number and hung up the minute I answered. I have not tried to call them back and they claim is for a job opportunity when they finally left a message next day. I know I did not leave a resume or apply for them. Will let you know what happens when I try call back later.She said it was Edicate Professionals

It is Aerotek and job recruiting company.

I received a call form this number yesterday.  It was a recruiter from TEKSystems, but I did not catch her name.  Claimed she was in Austin Texas, and I asked that she call back at 3 CT, she actually called back at 5:37 CT and I was not able to re-answer the call.

Not sure about the actual location since the 425 area code is Washington State, and the return call was close to 3 PT.  Very odd.

Yes, they're from TEK. They called four times in under five minutes. The constant buzzing of my phone forced me to leave a meeting to deal with them. I haven't been on the job market for two years...

Just received a call from this number, called me after hours and asking many questions, I replied this is not good time but still keep asking, I just hung up.

Yes, it was a lady with an accent asking me about a job opportunity. I had difficulty to anderstand her.

425-216-1639  - TekSystems Recruiter.  Totally valid, I had my resume out and they called.  Just for those curious when they receive a call from this number.

A lady with strong accent called and left a voice mail.  Called back.  No response.  I never share the resume with them.  Don't know where they got my #.  Pretty annoying company.

It almost seems like their recruiters have to show some calls on their calling list - for a bonus or perhaps to let their bosses know that they are indeed busy working. Other than that it dosent make sense to call and hang up before you speak, not call back and/or not reply when people decide to call back.

this person makes me mad she calls my phone but asks for my husband? then refuses to tell me who she is and what she wants!!! so annoying! so i googled it and it seems like shes been busy doing the same to many. how do they even get my husbands name?? and are they so unprofessional ?

They call me today so many times and there is  no voice mail or anything, I try calling back and it ask for extension number - with luck I get someones voice mail, I couldn't figure out her name or what she is saying. this is really ANNNOOYYIINNGG and I really don't think it is TEK Systems, if it is they need to leave a voice mail or it should say TEK system when u call back!!!

they are calling from TEKsystem, but they are calling from India.  they have junior recruiters calling and emailing from india doing the 'leg work' before they have a US contact speak with you.  Kind of a shame really.  with all the folks in america that need a job, that we are farming out even recruiting for jobs in the US to people overseas ...

A lady called me and said hello and hung up the call. she was crying. she should have called 911 instead

A Lady similar to indian Voice called me. She sounded like a new to recruiter and asked some stupid questions. she told she will get back to me. i am sure she or the person who told her to call me lost their life. :-)

This was a recruiter from Tek Systems.  They were calling me to offer me a position with a client of theirs.  Tek Systems is what I consider to be a reputable recruiter and I have worked with them in the past, so I wanted to make this post to clear up the previous "hung up and no message" comments.  I didn't recognize the number so I looked it up before listening to voice mail, expecting it to be a telemarketer, but instead it was actually much better news than that!

Incidentally the Call Type field to select when filling out a comment doesn't have a selection for a valid business call.

Same.  Just called and hung up.
