Got a call from this guy this afternoon. Couldn't understand him for the life of me!!!  He said he was an officer doing an investigation about an outstanding loan from 2010 from US Cash Advance.  I knew I didn't take out any loans, but thought maybe my messed-up son did.  Did a reverse phone search and read all of these comments and realize that it's a scam!!!  I am pissed and upset that someone is out there doing this!!!

I talked to this Gary, Jake, or Mark Martin (these are the names that he has used in the last two weeks). He said that I was getting charged with federal fraud and used my sister-in-law and brother to contact me. He has called my job as well. When I told him that I was gonna report him and his numbers, 321-257-9947 and 425-242-8783, to the police, he started getting upset, loud and irrate. I told him that I was looking at his handy work on the internet and he started to curse me. I told him that he was not gonna holler at me because he has the right person on the phone and I was not gonna tolerate his harrassment. Well then he says that he wanted to f&%* me. Then he says that he was gonna get me and my sister. I laughed and hung up the phone. People, you have to be stern with this guy and make him break down...I don't think he will be calling me or anyone in my household again.

Left a message on my wife's phone stating that my name and social security number and gave the last four of MY social, were associated with illegal complaints and it was in my best interest to give him a call at (425) 242-8783. He claimed to be officer Delon Beon (this is an assumption of what he said couldn't understand him very well) with some federal investigation company. I dunno couldn't understand his Muslim accent. He did not speak English properly at all. As far as I know it is ILLEGAL to falsely present your self an officer of the law. Someone needs to haul his A#$ to jail. I am going to submit a complaint with the police department and I advise everyone to do the same.

Same message as others got ..after about 20 calls of not saying anything. Could not understand his name and it wa as if he forgot his lines since he paused about 5 times trying to get the message out. He claimed that I had some legal issue and I better call him back. He did whoever say God Bless..which is ironic since he is obviously of some mideastern ethinicity.

This is a scam!!!  Don't listen to them, I don't understand how they can get away with this.  This is something that I have researched after my first phone call over a year ago.  They keep changing their numbers and the place they call from.  I went as far as contacting the Attorney Generals office, no luck, I can't help but wonder how many poor people as scared enough to actually pay them the money they are asking for.  These are horrible people with no morals.  Shame on them.  If you get a call, be firm and tell them how could you have a loan, you just got back from being in the military and you were stationed overseas!  Or better yet, tell them you just got out of jail!!!!  What jerks!

I would advise doing the same.  Quick story:  about a month ago, a guy called me from an unrecognized number claiming to be a lawyer.  He had a very thick Indian/Middle-eastern accent.  Told me that I owed a LOT of money to some payday loan company...wouldn't identify which loan company, but just told me they were associated with some mother company known as Quick Cash.  Did some research, found no such major payday loan company.  Told me I should hire a lawyer (and that he, conveniently, was available for a nominal fee of $400 or so).  Scary thing is, he had my SSN and my checking account number...knew that I was in the military...knew WAY too much about me.  Anyway, I told him I would be contacting the authorities to verify his identity.  He then told me that a police officer would be coming to my work and placing me under arrest.  Like that's realistic.  ANYWAY, today, I got a phone call from THIS number (425-242-8783).  Same accent, same voice, same broken English.  Claimed that his name was "Officer Martin" (or something to that effect).  I recognized his voice immediately as he asked me why I hadn't paid off my nonexistent $3400 loan.  I told him that I had no such loan, and that if I did, it was none of his damn busines what my finances were.  I asked him to send me an e-mail or some kind of confirmation to verify his identity.  Of course, this was a trick question...he immediately started talking about his inability to do so under "Chapter 68."  Pseudo-lawyer speak if I ever heard it...officers of the law don't typically study it, they enforce it.  Chapter 68, as it turns out, has little (if anything) to do with disclosure of identity.  I made the mistake originally of reporting the first set of phone calls to the county police (who apparently have no jurisdiction over military bases).  Today, I spoke with the military police, who redirected me to the Criminal Investigation Division (CID).  I take this stuff very seriously.  I will continue to press on until this guy is found and punished for his crimes.  I don't know how effective reporting these things usually are, but I would encourage everyone on here to report this guy to your local authorities as well.  The more authorities are involved, the less predatory power he will have.  And I know you all, like me, have to be really, REALLY peeved that this guy keeps cutting into your private time with his unwanted harrassment.  REPORT him!!!

I recieved a phone call from 425-242-8783. He said I had a loan out with a company and needed to pay it. When I asked him who the loan was for he said he couldn't believe I had no idea about my finances. He asked for my husband but had my SS#. He said he had checked my credit report and couldn't understand why I would have such a loan out because my finances showed that I had money. At this point he put me on hold and had someone else talk to me but I suspected it was the same guy just lowering his voice a notch. He said I would be arrested on Friday unless I paid him $525 using my credit card to pay for the legal fees. He said I had a loan out for some company that I couldn't find. I hung up on him and he tried to call back. He didn't leave a message but I am not going to answer his calls.

I have constantly been receiving calls from this number and am tired of the harassment. They call my cell phone and my place of work and are rude to who ever answers the call. It is a scam company trying to accuse people of owing a payday loan. i do not owe a payday loan and not matter how many times I tell them they continue to call. Tired of these calls.

I received a call from someone, from this number. I asked where they were calling from and I asked who is calling and they didn't want to really say.  They also mentioned that I had an outstanding pay day loan and I asked what pay day company and the guy said "oh mam you don't remember". I told him I reported him to the Federal Trade Commission and I told them to leave me alone and I hung up.
