once again the do not call list does nothing to stop this type of call.  Will put them on reject list then i do not have to listen to ringing.

annoying constant calling

I just got a call from this number and was told "DON'T HANG UP!  You have just won a free security system."  When I pressed "1" a woman came on the line and asked me if I was the homeowner.  I asked what company she was calling from and she said, "Protection Network"  I asked here where she was located and she said, "Miami."  She again asked me if I was the homeowner, and I said, "Yes.  What is your address."  She clearly was confused because she said, "You are asking me too many questions.  I'm suppose to find out if you are the homeowner and transfer you."  I said, "why can't you help me?" She hung up.  Homeowner "1" telemarketer "0"  I did register this on the Do Not Call Complaint website.  I say fight back.  When you get these calls ask them questions.  Take control of the call and get as much info as possible.

One of numerous calls from these idiots, I informed them that I already have a security system. They apologized and I thought I would be removed, not so. I may have them come out with their stupid sales pitch, may be they will get the hint when they see the signs that I already have a system. If they can waste my time may be I can return the favor.

If yo have a complaint go to FTC.gov and register your do not call complaint. If you redial the telemarketer's number you will get a recording to remove your numer, Press #1 and then enter your phone #

i will not answer a call that i do not know the number.  This number has been put on the reject list so will not have to hear the phone ring.  do not call list stinks  nothing helps.  these people need to be fined

Second call this week telling me "NOT TO HANG UP" since I had won a "free" GE Home Security system followed by a bunch on meaningless crime statistics.  First time I punched 2 to get off their calling list.  As expected that didn't work because I got the second call 2 days later.  I punched 1 this time to talk to their rep. She was rude and talked right over me as I was asking to be taken off their list. Then she just hung up. The company name is Home Protection Services. Another unsolicited marketing call the government does nothing about.

Called 2x in the last 20 min.

Left no answer on machine.

I filed a complaint with "Do Not Call" folks.

The company who benefits from the Security Services contract can be found. I remember reading about it on one of these posts for another phone number they used. It helps to call the company personally and ask to speak to the President. They were still taking calls when I spoke to them.
It didn't help me but now I don't think they use that number any more.

This company, under this and several other numbers, calls me two or three times a week. Half the time they are selling "Security Services." I looked them up on the internet. They send out cheap window monitors and stickers and then charge a large monthly fee for "monitoring" but I've heard they don't actually do it.
Under "Cardmember Services" they try to get current credit card information from you, and try to get you to order a (quasi-legitimate) "new" card. Either way, they have your credit card information, and that's what they want. I've heard that the new cards are issued in a state with no consumer protection laws and the cards have exorbitant rates and hidden penalties.  But I also read somewhere on the internet that they don't even send you a card. They just want your social security number and other credit card info.

Call 1 or 2 times a day. Very annoying, never leave messages. In frustration, I answered and heard someone though no greeting in return, asked if they were having fun, person laughed and hung up on me. So weird and rude.

Started out with calls warning me about potential credit card issues and now it's security systems.  Have tried several times to have my number removed from their list, to no avail.  Each time I wait and speak to a "real" person they'll start with a pitch, then hang up when I ask about their company.

How in the Hell does this company stay in business and why can't the FTC crack down on them?

This number has been calling about six months now. When i fianlly spoke to someone because I acted like i was interested i told them again to get me off there list. I was off for about 2 months and now i am getting calls from them again. I acted like i was interested so that i could talk to a person and told them to get me off the list again and he just said"" that sucks"" and he hung up on me.
