Just got a call from 425-355-5255. Called it back... message says that it has been disconnected.

I am on the National Do Not Call list, the Robo call said it was from the FBI and it was a reporting a break in.....then I hung up

Have these bozos blocked, but they still call periodically.  Haven't a clue which scam it is, but seems like a good number to block.

Called twice in last few days. Caller ID says only "Everett, WA". Doesn't leave message so either telemarketer, scammer or soliciting for a charity. I don't answer calls with ambiguous caller ID's.

when I called the number back I got the message" this number has been disconnected or is no longer working".  I'm thinking telemarketing, who else wont let you call call back a missed call.

The "Do Not Call" list is for businesses with whom you have not been a customer. So scammers do not care about breaking this law. MOST of my calls ended when I signed up with the Direct Marketing Association for charities. Again, scammers don't comply,  but law-abiding organizations stopped.

Note: I have Comcast and looked at this and they require you activate their "Voice 2go" service using either an Android or iPhone app. I tried calling their support to ask why something that doesn't require a cell phone requires a cell phone to use. The guy had no idea what I was talking about and I had to explain it several times, he asked me to wait while he looked something up and 30 MINUTES later the phone went dead ... so I have no answer yet.

Not all carriers have this service yet.
But they will give you the customer service number for your carrier so you can call them and ask they add this Simultaneous Ringing service.

It just went live early October 2013 and is a free service.

This will not stop calls that are considered legal though (charities, REAL surveys, political), etc.). Some of these can be very annoying also, but if they don't cross the "legal" boundary they will not be blocked by the NoMoRobo database. But if you can block the majority of other calls it might help. And any time the scumbag scammers change and use a new number it may take awhile for enough complaints to be looked at and to have that number added.
