Our company received a prerecorded message from these idiots this afternoon at 1317 hrs.  The message violated FCC requirements and insinuated that I/we owed back taxes.  I hit the number to talk to someone in the hope of venting my spleen upon them but, apparently, too many people have done that so it immediately kicks you into a message system 'because all their agents are currently busy' trying to scam other people out of their hard-earned money.  I left a message of my own for these deceptive scam artists.

Received call from this # this morning - Sarah on IRS back tax debt that Pres Obama wants them to work with us on paying down our back tax debt.  We have no back tax debt so this is a bogus call to us.  Nice touch adding Pres Obama wants them to work with us on our tax debt - What a joke.  Pressed 7 to be removed will see if they call again.

I have paid both state and federal taxes. In fact, after going through papers in April, it turned out that I had tax returns due to me. Those have successfully come through.

It seems clear in the the tone of voice in the recorded message that this is a business pitch and deceptive scam. I figure that an IRS representative would leave a voice-mail or "snail" mail information. Considering what worries this can induce, I am annoyed by such a scheme.

I have received several calls from this number.  They just hang up.  I do not plan to answer again.

I was on another call and almost ended it to answer this one.  Since I don't know the area code, there was no need to answer.

Got a call at 10:06 am. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Tired of people calling me when they have no reason to.

we got one too.  It's gotten so bad with these scams that unless we recognize the area code we don't answer.  99 out of 100 turn out to be scam numbers when I check them out online.

They just called. I answered and no one was on the line. Then they just hung up.

I also got 2 calls from this #, and I am state of MN, and let's request them to stop calling

I am repeatedly seeing this number on my caller ID.  When I go to answer it there is no one there.  They have already done this 5 times in the last hour.  It's driving me nuts.

Just called...didn't answer. Just more SCUMBAGS trying to take advantage of people. Telemarketers SUCK!!!

Called  9:28 am. No voice response to our machine. Not interested in their spill. Scam is a scam.

I received a call from 425-390-8117 @10:14 am this morning. My caller ID shows PACIFICTEL. I called back. It is a recording claiming their records show I possibly owe Fed and State back taxes. I do not owe any back taxes. Message says if you feel this is in error, push 9. I pushed 9. I also looked this company up online. They have numerous different phone numbers and business titles & interests. They also have numerous complaints against them. We will see if they call me again. They have no reason to be calling me. They are trying to sell their business services.
