I keep getting calls from this number and once they left a message saying "This is National Home Protection...are you there?"  And that is it.  It sounded like a real human, but it is most likely pre-recorded.

NEW CO is also NEW A CO. They sometimes call first to remove their name and number in the next call they make, so it comes out:

I assume this is a code for removing their real number from the next call, which is 425-390-8157,
This is the one that shows up on your caller ID as Unavailable 1.
Researrch shows this to be a cell phone from the state of Washington.  
At least, that's what I seemed to find.

My husband got a call and they hung up. On searches they show up in Seattle, Tacoma, Renton. I seached it because he also found that he was "looked up" by someone trying to find him and this area was listed. It's a little spooky. The searches gave differing results: number usually shows up as a land line but not always, sometimes it says unlisted, ect.   One search gave their geo co as Latitude: 47.61 | Longitude: -122.33, but this is in the water as far as I can see on satillite. Another gave a land address but I was having a hard time getting a close look-14th street in Renton was as close I could get. Phone Directory.com says "No Complaint on file" and there is a place to complain at the bottom of their page. It also lists a umber of Ispn numbers related to this phone number. And other rnumbers. Hope this is helpful.

well here's an idea - DON'T ANSWER IT.  if you don't recognize the number don't answer it.

you asked what was the point of the do not call list if no one enforces it.  do YOU file a complaint every time?  if not then YOU are part of the problem.  how do you expect the government to enforce a law if no one is complaining?  do you want the federal government to GUESS?  OR would you prefer they just starting getting copies of your cell phone bill to look through your phone numbers and try each one to see if it is potentially a scammer?

I think these companies swap numbers all the time and then another different telemarketing company gets it and calls from it. I got a call from here, i usually do not answer numbers i don't recognize but being in real estate many times i don't know the numbers for the people who call me. Regardless, area codes out of states other than the one i live in ... i do not answer or call back.

For a long time this company has called and finallly I answered it. Someone who said their name was Tom wanting to give a FREE home alarm if we would allow them to put a sign in the front yard. I advised him ( whoever he was ) not interested and not to call again. HE stated would remove our number and not call again...  Tried of this company

Many calls from this number.  No messages left.

These calls seem to come quite often for a few weeks and then they stop.  Then they start up again from a different number.  Other numbers, perhaps from the same group trying to steal?

The name of the company is Teleport Comunications. It is a telemarketer trying to sell home security systems. In other words a scam operation. Two more of their numbers are 360-529-6130 and 253-246-8564. If they do not get an answer they hang up and wait a few minutes and call from one of these other numbers. I have added them to my do not call list for what good that does. Legal action might be the next step.

Keep getting a call from these guys saying they're from Home Protection, asked them to take me off their list multiple times.... any idea how I can report them if I'm on the DNC list?

I received a call from this number didn't recognize a any number I knew so I didn't answer googled the number to see from where it can and I see others have made comments and or replies, Thank you, my do not accept response from now on!

I receive multiple calls a day from them.  After ignoring them and having no effect on the number/frequency of calls, I answered today.  It was a recording, even though it sounded like a real person "Hi, my name is Tom, I'm calling about a home security opportunity in your area [PAUSE] Would you be inerested in hearing information about..."  After "Tom" introduced himself, I said "My phone number is listed on the Do Not Call List."  Once it registered what I'd said, the call disconnected.  I

I am called at least two times a day from the above listed number!  Would like the calls to stop!

It just called Cell phone.. left no messaeg - quick check on this site confirms type of call. Thanks all for info.

Doesn't matter.   I answer and there is no one there.  I call and press 1 to be removed but have yet to be removed.   Who can I contact to stop these calls?   Any one have any suggestions?

Calls several times a day on my cell phone.  Never leaves a message.  Waits a few days and it starts all over again.

This number has been calling me on my cellphone nearly every day for almost two weeks--even on Thanksgiving!!  I work in a classroom, however, so I'm never around to answer it. I don't know who it is--I've had experience with debt collectors and they always leave messages.

I don't know who set up this 800 notes com but I just want to say to them THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It helps for my peace of mind to know these calls I never will answer are bogus.

QUESTION:  For those of you getting these calls. Did you transfer from one cell phone provider to another keeping your same number? Did you receive any of these bogus calls on that number before with your previous provider? Finally who was your previous provider and who is your provider now? It is probably less important who your provider is now than your previous provider. To build a case we need thousands of reports against the offending provider if there is one. This is just a start of an idea. Previous ATT now Verizon. Who was yours if you transferred.My previous experience does not preclude this possibility.

I got a call from this number this afternoon here in Washington DC.  No message when I didn't answer.  Just adding my comment to the others here.

I've been getting calls everyday for weeks now, have never answered a single call, yet they start in the morning,and have been calling every night at 7:48 p.m. Sometimes 2-3 calls in a hour. Am on do not call list also, this is affecting my health, am very ill and disabled, can not get the rest I need, cannot shut my phone off, have life line in case of emergency. I will file complaint on this group, it is illegal, and definitely harassment...maybe we should file a class action law suit on them. I have private, unlisted name, number. Think I'll call my attorney on Monday, and see what they have to say!

I get a call at least twice a day from the # 425-390-8157.  I am livid, as it is a telemarketing call.
