Somehow this phone number made a call from my cell phone and talked for over an hour.  I was billed by AT&T $54 extra for cell phone minutes above my allotted minutes.  I did not make this phone call.  After calling AT&T and complaining they only charged me $10 for the call and that still is not fair.  I did not make this call and the puzzling things is it is listed under phone calls made from my cell.  Puzzling???

I didn't answer the phone since I didn't recognize the number (and I don't know anyone in washington). They didn't leave a message and they have not called back since then. It has been a week and I haven't gotten any more calls from them, it was just the one.

I suspect this is number is sometimes used to fish for your location. We've been on the other end of a Gypsy "Sweetheart Swindle" and have been receiving calls from this number. The police suggested they could be pinging our phones to find our location, maybe to know when we were away from the victim. So this could be someone looking for your location, but hopefully its something more benign - it would explain all the hang ups when you answer.

i just got a call from this number as well but it wasn't no one named ashley. it said automated opted out telamarketing

Report all scam calls to www.donotcall.gov.  "They" cannot stop them if they don't know about them.

Number called my cell# at 8:22 a.m. Pacific time; I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. My cell# is on the do-not-call list.

Same number called and did not leave message.

The only list scammers follow is the list of numbers to call.

Another irritating call from one of the many who seem to not know about the federal and state ?do not call? lists.  Irritating!

My phone is registered "do not call," but got a call from this number. I do not answer calls on my cell that I do not recognize. Understand it to be a robocall.

Just googled this missed call... Didnt leave voicemail. Another person they called 1-4-13.

On the message, the first / identifying part was garbled. Then they said, "To see if you qualify, press 1". Have no idea who this is.

That is what mine said. Pressed the number to talk to someone and have them remove me from their lists and they hung up on me. So I Called the number and supposedly on their opt out list. We'll see.

I have received two calls from this place today. No people just a automated guy trying to sell something to do with advertising. Called the number back and supposedly got on their opt out list. We'll see... Have blocked their number in any case.

Received call on my cell phone . Left message from "Ashley Martin " saying that she was getting back with  us about lowering credit card rates . This was untrue as we had never spoken to anyone about this. She said that we had contacted her last week. We have heard from "Ashley Martin" before as a scam call about credit card reduction rates. This time her message was a little different. Hope she doesn't fool anyone. She gave a number to call back. This type of call is a nuisance and a fraud. Please be aware.This "courtesy call" is a hoax.

she broke my heart when she didn't pick up after I missed her call. If you hear from Ashley tell her I miss her kind eyes and loving touch. :(

Rec'd p/c from this number. I googled the number since I did not recognize it & saw this conversation thread.  I also tried to call it back and received the message about entering in both telephone numbers to stop receiving calls. however, the last time I did take my number off the call list I dont remember it going this way so I opted to hang up instead.  Recently I received a text message from someone named sara that used my correct first name. when I asked who I was speaking with she prompted into an info pitch about a smokeless cigarette and when I asked if I knew her she apologized and stopped texting me.  I believe it was from a similar number with the same area code.

Yep, just got a vxm from stupid Ashley...NO WE DID NOT SPEAK LAST WEEK, QUIT CALLING MY WORK PHONE!

Received call this morning. Was automated call with the same message about having a stroke. Hung up. Will add to my block list as report to Do Not Call...

Annoyed.

These people need a real job.

Just received call from this number, did not answer, but left incomplete robomessage in voicemail, something about some medicine and abortion and some claim about it. To press 1 if something or other.

Showed up on the cell phone as a missed call from 425 406-9040 at 10:25am.
