These calls do not violate the Do Not Call List but they are still illegal because they do not include the necessary contact info (address or phone number) and because they call cell phones with a prerecorded voice. Damages are $500 to $1500 for each call to a cell phone, and potentially a lot more in fines if the FCC gets involved. They are now also calling from 701-661-1579. Anyone who has an accurate address for this company should post it.

no-call list does not pertain to any political calls. Who do you think make the laws about national no-call list? Congress. Do you really think they would make a law preventing calls on THEIR behalf?

We're also on the nat'l no-call list--however, these guys have called my girlfriend's house several times this month, and maybe before, too. It does seem they are with some Republican survey group, so of course I'm getting a little p'd off on her behalf.
So, when a second number called tonight--this time from a local land-line--I inquired, and learned they were using this land-line to contact people with caller ID who were avoiding them, or looking them up, etc.
Dirty trickster law-breakers! Quit breaking the law to bug people!!!
Ahem...just thought others might find this...interesting. Maybe SOMETHING could be done about it with this being the case.

Survey call from "Got-Focus", a Republican polling firm. Unfortunately it is illegal to make automated calls such as this to cell phones. If they call again I will be taking action.

Caller ID comes up "ER SURVEYS"
Claimes to be taking surveys of registered voters, at least that is what voice message claims.

Received a call from this number on August 8, 2010 at 6:32 PM Eastern. The caller ID says "ER SURVEYS." We didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
