These people say that they are recoving my assets and that me or my attorney need to call them immediately. The womans name is Lexi. They reference a case number however there is no such case nor has there been any mail that has come to me for any legal proceedings. I guess they really do not expect anyone to have an attorney but I do. Never hurts to always have an attorney. They also mention good luck to me at the end of the call. Really good luck for what. Just so people are aware if there is a case number against you in your area for civil court you can find the case number in most jurisdictions by either inputing the case number or your name. Also there are statutes of limitations on old debt they are just trying to reage it to make it legit. I work in Fraud and they use alot of the same tactics for finding information that we use to make sure that a person is legit and not the fraudster. It can be very confusing at times to determine who you are really talking to and since they have so much of your information it can be really scary but do not fall for. If really concerned call an attorney or order credit reports on yourself just to make sure there is no identity theft taking place. Under not circumstances should you give anyone your information on the phone and in this situation even if you do iniate a call back to these sharks. I say shark because this is the business that they are in. They could work for more reputable companies but they chose to work for this one either by choice because they enjoy it or they are truly down on their luck and can not find anything else. My opinion is that they are criminals and have criminal minds trying to make a buck on the outer edges of the law.

I wouldn't doubt this - I never listen to them the whole way just tell them they have the wrong number and hang up. My debt is WAY past SOL.

This is a firm that buys old debt and tries to re-age it so they can collect.
