Received a call from the aforesaid # on my cell phone this afternoon, and since it's "unidentified", I let it go to Voice-Mail (which turned out to be just a whole minute of silence). I traced the number back to a switch in Ames Lake, Washington (which is supported by an independent 3rd party Telco called Pac-West Telecomm). In layman's terms, these guys are some shady telemarketers who're running a scam. Do not trust them, and report this number to your State Attorney General, your Better Business Bureau, and the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). If enough people report it, you best believe they will eventually get the message!

I would urge you to beat them to the punch.

Everyone who asks nicely to be removed or says ANYTHING they aren't interesting in hearing gets the same rude treatment.  So I press 1 and wait for them to answer.  I believe that wasting their time is onlyh fair play.  When they finally do answer, I begin my conversation by saying something to the effect of, "HI!  It sure was fun f*cking your daughter last night!  Is your mom available tonight?"

This is much more courtesy than they deserve, but it's a start.  Actually, I think we'd all prefer to totally F*ck over the company they are working for that keeps calling us.  Don't forget that we are talking to people being paid to abuse us.  Turn-about is fair play

I've been on the gov't donotcall registry for years but am getting increasing number of calls like the one I just received from this number. The calls are automated, tie up the phone since even if I hang up the recording continues. The only option I have is to call *69 (for which I'm charged) so I can get a number to call them back and I get a recording that says press 1 or 9 to be put on THEIR do not call list. What is the value of being on the donotcall.gov registry if these calls are not stopped?!?!

Calling my cell phone, said they needed homes in our area to install a free adt security system in, in exchange for putting up advertisements.  Im sure the catch was free install, but a 2 year monthly contract. Strange caller voice with a several second delay, I believe it was a computer using voice recognition & response.

I received this call - after a long pause, the caller said he was with GE Home Security.  He asked if I would like a free wireless alarm system installed for free, in exchange for posting the sign in my front yard.  I already have an alarm system, so declined.  Sounds suspicious.

this is a telemarketing guy selling security systems.  he will not stop calling.

this number keeps calling me too, trying to sell security systems. they guy will not put you on the no-call list, and just ignores everything you say by talking over you. he was using the name "dave" or "dan"

On the national do not call list.  Received a call from this number, did not pick up and they did not leave a message.  I truly wish there would be an actual enforcement on the do not call-request from citizens.  As I understand, if they do not leave a message or admit who their company is when picked up, citizens can not do anything other than endure the robocalls.

It called me all the time.
I press "9" to remove my number, and they they still called me after hour

Didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.

I called it back. Said the number couldn't be completed as dialed

I tried to call this number back and was greated with an automated message telling me that my account does not have enough balance to complet the call???  What the hell???

I didn't answer because I don't recognize the number.  It calls about every hour during the day.  I guess I better answer and hope the option to leave me alone is available!!!!!!!

Another 'education' scam number.

This is a spam number.  My number is on a call list and several different companies use this number to solicit, calling several times a day.  Don't give your telephone number out on the internet.

And now that same number just called me again, this time saying they are from a "home security" place!!  WTF?!

This number called me 7 times yesterday.  Every time I would answer, there wouldn't be anyone there.  Called back, and got an automated system telling me to press 1 to "talk to someone about furthering my education".  You can also press "9" to be removed, which is the option I chose.
