Phone rang twice, and when we picked up the phone, no one on the line.

rang twice  cid said  recyle whatever that means.  

Same here: phone rang twice, then stopped. CID said unknown name, at this number.

Called on my business line. Rang twice; I didn't answer.

it rang two times...answered it....hung up b4 i could say anything.....came up recycle on the caller id....maybe wanting to see if it is a live line??? will probably call back on a different number to scam about something!!!
