Hangup call after answering.

It looks as if these people are trying to 'sneak in' during a time when we're getting so many campaign-related calls...like we're not supposed to notice that they're breaking the do-not-call rules.

What good is the No Call List and making a report if they won't do anything about it.

This number got through my telemarketer blocker.  Called 10/18/2012 at 3:12 PM.  The Caller ID identified them as "Get Protected."

These people are using fake numbers and fake names.  The Credit Voice is their real name, the name they hold on their telemarketing license, which is in Florida.  The calls are coming from 495 Semoran Blvd, Casselberry, Florida.  Mike Hilgar runs the place.  Complain to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.  The FTC already has many complaints on them.  Many Attorney General's in different states also have several complaints on these people.  Indiana Attorney General has already filed suit against them.  The more complaints these organizations get, the sooner they can be stopped.

I have attached a whistle to a key  chain and attached that to the cord attached to the receiver on my phone.
I missed this call by minutes, but I'll get them next time they call. lol

Obviously, they do not pay attention to the Do  Not Call List Registry.    I called them back and got into it with a gentlemen who said he will remove my number.   However, I use Google telephone which is NOT my number, I told him he was in violation and I am reporting them.   Then I called back, again and spoke to Jessica who asked me my name, and I gave her a famous actress's name (Maura)***** and she was very nice, sympathetic.  I asked her all kind of information because I want to keep her on the line and PREVENT them calling someone else.   The company is based in Union or Union City, NJ.   She was calling from Clearwater Florida.   The prices are 34.95 per month, 98.85 quarterly and 371.40 yearly.   It is like the "Help I am falling" advertisement.  Who knows, maybe it is the same company?    Anyways, if you feel like  playing with them, call them back and tie up their line by pretending your interested.  I didn't give her my real number and I don't get calls on my google telephone~ Meanwhile, I am reporting them.   Got another call from Rachael from Credit Services with a new phone number!

my mother received a call from this number.  when I called it back it was a recording wanting to  sell medical alert programs.  I pushed the  number it said would remove  her number from their list. My mom is hard of hearing, these calls scare her.  She's been on the do not call list for years, it does no good.

These idiots really don't have a life - too chicken to talk to you so they hang  up or I love to hang up on them.  They are just trying to get your credit card number - don't  be stupid and always report them.
For all I know this may be a way they keep track of who they are irritating.  Obviously it doesn't do any good to be on the Colorado or National Do Not  Call List.

Did not answer not a number of friends or family

Called just now and as with others, did not leave a message but number similar to one that called at 6 AM a couple of days ago and read Alert Button, and it appears that some of the others listed here read the same thing.

When I didn't answer this call, my answer machine records an annoying sound similar to my not having hung up the phone correctly.  This is happening almost every day and is really annoying.

Rang 3 times, then disconnected, so my recorder did not receive their spiel.

I tend to agree with others' statements about the ineffectivity of the Do Not Call list.  That organization keeps a lot of statistics, and probably employs a large number of people, but has no teeth.

Rang just 3 times before stopping.  Caller ID said "Help".  More crap from stupid telemarketers.  One level of HELL is reserved for these people.  Do Not Call list is a waste of time.

Recorded voice promoting "Medical Emergency Alert System." I've had this call several times, spoke with the operator and was guaranteed each time that my number was being removed. Spoke with operator again today, was told to renew my "do not call" status and he told me that "this is a recorded line" (as if that matters if no one with any scruples is going to listen) and that my number was being removed. He hung up. I called back and by some miracle the phone worked. Operator would not comply with my request for their address. I spoke with supervisor, said they were in florida and were not obligated to give their address. I told him that he is obligated to follow the "do not call" laws and that I have had multiple assurances that my number was removed--multiple violations of federal law. I wish the FTC would take these things seriously.

Standard sort of scam, preying on the elderly.  Try to sell 'something you wear' in case of emergency.  Rule of thumb.  Any phone call from a number you don't recognize is most likely a scam of some sort.

Caller ID # said "Help, I've Fallen" I did not try to call back.
