I just got a call on my cell. The only reason I answered is because I happen to be in the 432 area code.

It was a recording about auto insurance. At the end of the recording, it said to press 3 to be removed from their list. I did just that, so let's see if they actually removed me.

Called on my cell phone....how did they get that number??  I didn't answer in time...not going to call them back!!

I called them back 3 times..different person each time. All of them hung up immediately after I asked for removal of my number.

I received two calls, looked at this site, called back w an auto reply saying car insurance rates are going up and press one to speak w Mary.

im going to use all 100 phone lines at my office and blow their phone up for days asking if they would like to by insurance from me.

There is no way you will get a call about auto insurance from the TX DPS. The only time insurance comes into play is when you are getting your tags for your car and nothing more. Sounds like a scam be careful!!

this number tried calling my husband's cell and work phone telling him they were from the TX DPS and tgat we had no auto insurance...my husband was upset and had me call the number back...when i called they tried getting info from me and when i questioned them they hung up...i called several times and spoke with vanessa, savanna, two other ladies and two men!! they all kept hanging up on me...

I called back 4 times consecutively and the woman "Savannah" hung up on me all 4 times. It is a telemarketer trying to sell insurance for either home or auto. First time I told her I was pissed off, second time told her not to hang up and asked where she got my number, 3rd time she hung up before I said a word and the 4th time when I asked to speak to her boss she hung up yet again. Now please note...this Savannah person answered each and every time which suggests she was scamming or she is their only employee and they have NO business.

Mexicans called and tried to phish for information and saying they represented leading insurance companies and with my credit card number and info they could get a a free quote, in the background i hear mexican tv shows. lulz
