stupid telemarketers just  keep talking into nothing

This # called our office and asked for the owner. I asked if it was a solicitation and she said no. When the owner was not available, I asked if I could help. She asked if I was a manager and I said yes. When she asked what version of quick books we use and I said I didn't know, she said "clearly you are not a manager" and asked to speak with someone else. I assured her I was a manager and told her we were not interested in whatever she was selling. She get angry, so I said "no thank you" and hung up. She called back immediately and said she just put us on a mailing list, did this evil laugh and hung up on me! I tried to call the # back and it is 'not recognized'.

I asked them to take me off their list  - they argued with me telling me they wouldn't - when I told him they had to ... he got angry and told me no and that he would call and "haunt" me everyday for the rest of my life!!!!

We've received calls from these people quite a number of times.  They never leave a message. Today is the first time I answered. The person on the other end did not say anything, then after a second or two, she began to laugh maniacally!  Very weird.

We received a telephone call from the above number (they have been calling repeatedly for the past week) and the person on the other end asked for my wife by name of the phone said that they were receiving a Windows error on our computer.  (We have a Mac) He wanted us to log in to our computer so he could help fix it.  We asked for the name and phone number of his company.  He told us Performance Mechanics and gave us the number 718-539-4515.  That number is registered to Liro Engineering in Flushing NY.  It was obviously a scam from a spoofed number attempting to access our computer.  He became angry when I told him it was obviously a scam and when I hung up the phone he called back immediately and berated me for calling him a scammer.   I informed him that we were in the Do Not Call registry and asked him to put us on their do not call list.  He continued to berate me for several minutes before hanging up.

foreign sounding woman announced she was with Compliance Services and asked to speak with the owner of Wordlink. I advised that was not the name of our company and she hung up without a word.

Second time they called. No one was on the other end then hung up. I know not to answer numbers i don't know. Not sure why I did this time!

Has called 2x today. I have not answered and they don't leave a message. (There is no area code 433 in the US.)

Bogus call from unknown caller.

Received a call today.  Nasty woman.  Back and forth with what she wanted I couldn't understand her.  I said to get on with it and tell me what she wanted.  She said she would just call me back again and again and again and hung up.  Something about quickbooks and credit card processing.

Answered the phone and they asked for a manager who could answer some questions about our books.  When we told them to put us on their no Call List the chick told us she would Call back at a later time when someone who is willing to answer her questions will talk. We had a few unkind words to her and hung up.

Received several calls from this number in the last several days. They called at 6:37 IN THE MORNING. So much for the DO NOT CALL LIST.

For the past week, at least twice a day, morning and night, I receive a call. I answer and there is a hang up. There is no voicemail message left. I call the number back and I get the message that there was a problem with the number, please hang up and try again.
Should I contact a local attorney to press charges. I hear there is a substantial reward for catching the unsolicited calls. I am on the "no call" list.

This number has been calling every day for a week and not leaving voicemails.

WOULD SOMEONE EXPLAIN THE PURPOSE OF THESE UNLESS..ANNOYING PHONE CALLS FROM 'NOWHERE'... ???

Calling with no answer....my cell phone too.

Got one call yesterday & two today. I didn't answer any of them & they left no massage.
Since reading complaints on several sites, I've set my phone to block it.

Called my cell phone.... I did not answer and they hung up before voicemail activated.  Obviously another solicitor.... So much for NO CALL lists!!!

Yes they have been blowing me up as well. I have not answered and the voice mail msg's are empty.

The rodent disease calls aghin. Call an exterminator.

Did not answer call. On voicemail a female was eating , she  did not leave a message.

There needs to be laws against this nonsense.

I haven't answered but it has called 3 times in 5 hours!

very pushy call regarding upgrade to quickbooks, refused to take my number off their list unless I answered more questions regarding credit card merchant account
