Although the name is General Warranty, they are a collection agency

I got a call and I do not know who they are..I was asked if I were certain person and I said no my name is...and they insisted that i was some one else, they wanted to know the address and my SSN. I told them I do not give that info to any one over the phone, How do u get them to call the corres=ct number and not me?

Answered the phone and it started ringing on their end. I hung up.

informed them over and over and over wrong number and they still keep calling from this number

Received a call from 434-878-9958, Caller ID read, Asset Acceptance.

I didn't answer, and they did not leave a voice mail.

Got a robocall message on the answering machine wanting Ricky Hanny, according to the computer voice.  Said that by continuing to listen, I was acknowledging that I am Ricky Hanny.  Have no idea who Ricky Hanny is, but he is probably the Ricky HANEY another collection agency harassed me over a year ago until I started calling them repeatedly.  Now another bunch of crooks is going to harass me.  Sigh.  I'm going to have to harass me some crooks.  BTW, we've had this number for over thirty years, so it can't be a previous owner of this number.

Received a call from this number. Looked them up and glad I didn't answer because I'm happy with my car insurance.

register at www dot donotcall dot gov and if they call again file a complaint as they can get fined $10k per call.

I get 2 to 3 phone calls from this number a day.  Caller ID says it is Assest Acceptance.  When I call the number back, I get hang-ups.  It is very frustrating and annoying.

I continued to get calls from this unknown caller, everyday, the caller whom they are looking for is deceased.

I've been getting a recorded message for 2 years from this number.....looking for someone named "Kai Ti Ching."  By continuing to listen to this message you are confirming that you are ......."    Then the stupid thing hangs up.    

Caller ID: Asset Acceptance.....it used to show up as AAAC

Shows as AACC on caller ID. I let the answering machine pick it up. It was a recording that said "This call is for Lori James. By continuing to listen you are verifying that you are Lori James" ....then the call disconnected.

This is a Debt Collector (Asset Acceptance) Block your number before you call and the automated recording will verify the name!

Constant calling and messages on my answering machine. Trying to reach a person that is not me.

I get the call everyday for someone named Carol its a recording I just hang up.  I hate that. I have no privacy.

This is a call from Asset Acceptance. They are a collections agency. They are pulling up records on debt that has passed the statute of limitations and trolling for people to pay it. They have called my cellphone many times and the person they are trying to reach is not me. WHAY A PAIN!

don't know who it is or what for.

i get calls from 434-878-9958 ALL HOURS they will not say anything on my answering machine.they are going to be reported to the ala state attorney general and the us attorney general.

It's a Junk Debt Collection company. Bunch of out of date statute of limitations debt scam artists.

I have gotten this same phone call on my previous number, but asking for a different person. I think it's an auto dialer, so if you call them back they will just harass you again at a later date:(

Hey I am SUing them One by one and you can get $1000 per company PER COMPLAINT!!!  I got an attorney who only deals with these stupid companies.  All you have to do is tell the annoying a**holes that you are not the person they are seeking and to remove you from their list.  If they call you again, whether with the same bogus name or if they call looking for some other person, that is a violation...$1000!  Also if they call before 9am or after 9pm, threaten you, say they will put it on your credit, throw you in jail, call more than twice a week, call on weekends, repeatedly call and hang up without saying anything, lie (say that your name was listed as a contact,or lie about anything at all, etc.  Each one of these is a violation, more money in your pocket!  So far I have gotten up around $10,000!  No joke!  The laws says the stupid companies have to pay that $1000!  They continue to do what they do because so few people actually sue and it is very profitable for them to continue the crap!  My attorney only charges me $75 out of each of the $1000 they get for me.  Which I think is more than fair!  My last name is Johnson so I get tons of these stupid call calling for every Johnson on the face of the earth.  So start keeping a record of date, time, name of company if they will give it, the phone number they called from, name of person talked to, if they will give it, and what was said.  I have found that if I say I need their mailing address to mail in something, BEFORE is tell them they have the wrong person, it is easier to get the infor. Look on the internet to find an attorney who specializes in harassing credit companies and go for it! Most of these attornies will only get paid if they get the money for you and only charge a minimal amount when you do get paid.  The credit companies would rather settle out of court than go to court so there is your $1000, more if it does go to court!  So there is a bright side to these jerks!  SJohnson

i answer, but they never talk.  happens 2 to three times a week.

I get calls from this number, I don't answer them but they leave a recorded message saying this is a private call for Gayle Cox, if this is not the right number/person please hang up now otherwise keep listening and it goes on to say something on the order that its a collection agency and requests this Gayle call them back. They've called at least once a day for weeks.

i keep getting at leat 4-6 calls a day from this number..never anyone there..even after 9 at nite i get them...how can i block this number...and the person they are looking for does not live here....a** wipes......

call and hangup after i answer. 3rd time.

They work for satan and calls when you're doing something on the computer.
