Merchant credit services calls 2,3 times a day. I finally told them they are rude and stupid, pressed the pound key repeatedly and hung up. He called right back, and said"F you, I am going to F you up! Incredible. Does anyone actually do business with these people? Can you imagine having their rude deaf selves involved in your financial details?? Unbelievable. I am on the do not call list, and as far as i know their calls are illegal after i have told them fifteen times to not call me. I say "I dot want you, dont need you, in fact i now hate you"
Can anyone tell me their phone number?

These rude people call me three times a day. I have told them to stop. This is illegal. Why would i do business with these clueless people?? Never! I am filing complaints with the attorney general, ftc, an BBB. They need to be stopped and prosecuted!

They called today and after verify that they were a "non-connected" business - I asked him to take us off their phone calling list and hung up... He immediately called me back - I again asked him to take out number off their list. If they call again - it will be a FTC complaint. RUDE - PUSHY - Con-artists.

She is laughing before she realizes she is connected. Then asked for the owner or manager of the business. I asked who is calling she says Latoya. I asked what company is she with? She says Momentum Payment Systems. I said are they expecting your call? She said uhhh no. I said I will take a message. She said no message and hung up. Just another scam telemarketing call.

I had a long conversation...he explained the name on the caller ID isn't them, which made me laugh. I told him he was a telemarketer and he said he is not but I insisted he tell me the owners name (which is me) and he could not. I explained to him the do not call registry rules for MI and he kept arguing with me. I ended up hanging up on him after asking at least 5 times for them to stop calling me.

People who have enough time need to start plastering these numbers all over the web. Build websites in every major language on earth offering free goods & free shipping to try the free product out and leave feedback for the product, just a phone call away! Dial 1-435-238-7786 etc. Other countries do not have to abide by a DNC list. Post there number on every porn site anywhere you can think of to get their phones ringing off the hook so they don't have time to harass call us. Come on people fight back. List these peoples numbers everywhere you can online. Sites you have to register with to leave a call back number can be done by creating a yahoo etc email account used for this purpose only, not your normal email address. It's time for WAR!! I'm starting my war campaign right now.

My experience was unlike anything I ever seen in the last 45 years of phone calls. This number called hung-up, called hung-up, called hung-up. 3 times in less than 3 seconds. It was that fast and freaked me out. My caller i.d. showed 3 separate calls from this same number in the same minute on my cell phone. But I had the phone on me and they did not occur in one minute. It was 3 seconds!

Got another call today AFTER I specifically told them to remove my number. I knew they wouldn't. This is the second time I have asked for it to be removed. If they call back again I am going to be pissed!

kept getting calls at work from this number asking for the owner. Today when I answered I could hear what clearly sounded like a call center. The lady asked for the owner, I told her he wasn't in and to remove our number from their calling list. She said ok.
I'm recording this here so when they call back I can tell them I've already told them to do this.

Keep getting calls from this number pretending to be our credit card processing center. They are not. I've called the processing center a few times and they know nothing about what these people are talking about.

I have reported our number to the DNC list and they keep calling. And this particular number is a total annoyance. They call 3-4 times a day and will not take NO for an answer. There has to be some way to stop them from harassing business people that are trying to talk to clients and conduct business. It is the same man that calls all the time and he becomes hostile all the time. I am so f****** sick of this.

Finally, a little info on how their business model for "Momentum Payment Systems" and "Encore Payment Systems" works.
First, they scrape whois info and other sources to feed to an outside telemarketing firm. The oursourced firm blanket calls the list of business owners which get the pitch. It's based on first confirming the physical address then talking continuously until setting a time. The telemarketer reads the script in a continuous fashion to ensure that the callee can only respond to those two items. There is most likely a commission to the telemarketing company for each "yes".
For those hapless business owners that relented to the pitch, reps are sent within a day to the business. The reps are low end on the totem pole who only collect commission on over priced terminals and services. The commenter in the following article characterized it as a "hiring mill" because rep turnover is so high, and training conditions are apparently quite rough.

"I found out the hard way why they choose to run with 2 names. They start an area and hire sales reps for both companies, the reps don?t know this. They make the first rep run an appointment and if the first rep doesn?t close the sales they make an appointment for the second company rep to go and close the sale.
To the customers it looks like 2 competing companies called on them.
In addition like many others try to lease a $200 credit card machine for $54.95 a month for 4 years. The unaware merchant is stuck with a non cancel-able $2,600 bill.
They offer good rates only because they have a list of ways to screw the merchant. "

Looks like "Momentum Payment Systems" is another whack-a-mole extension of the infamous Encore Payment Systems and Prodigy Payment Systems. Extremely aggressive in their telemarketing techniques, avoid answering at all costs.

I AM SICK OF THIS COMPANY CALLING MY OFFICE. THEY EVEN TRY TO IMPLY THAT WE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, OR HAVE IN THE PAST. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, NEVER HAVE, NEVER WILL. Got a call from this number asking for the owner of the company. When asking what the call is in regards to, he says payment systems and asks for the owner again. Since it has to do with taking payments, I tell them this is just a sales office, we don't accept payments. He demands that he speak to the owner since he can't take my word for it. I hung up. He called back and called me a b*tch and hung up. Nice way to do business.
