@ vikkipew same here! I have made sure to add all my numbers to the do ot call list. I still have a problem. Apparently they are not breaking any laws because they are allowed to cal within certain hours of the day. Apparently the Do Not Call list is only valid during the hours of 10PM and 7AM wherever you are. Good Luck!

This whoever called-the Caller ID says YPR and they leave no message. I call them back and a message says "Thank you for calling customer service to remove your number from out call list..blah blah blah.." But never mention who they are.

I received 2 calls from them. Didn't answer either on and they left no message. I see it says debt collector on the message from JGS. I have no debts.

call came in while I was out...no message left....must be a telemarketer....I am on the do not call list and have an unlisted number.....aren't we supposed to NOT receive these calls? I reported several of these calls to the FCC and received a letter that they are not going to investigate because the perpetrators are not breaking any laws....how about that? Why did they bother with a do not call list if they were not going to enforce it? that's the government for you.....

Said they worked for the Yellow Pages. Asked if I used yellow pages on Computer or from book. Then said I will receive complimentary copy of Miami Herald for a month. Very strange.

I get these verification calls, too. Apparently they're telemarketers who log which times you answer and which times you don't. They use that information to maximize the time of their telemarketers so that they don't get answering machines. they've figured out that their time is more valuable than yours.

I answered and it was an automated system. It said it was "service verification" or something and that they would call back later (why? I'm right here).
I returned the call and the system said it was "customer service" (didn't mention the company) and that I could enter my phone number to remove it.
Seems to have started after I switched to Uverse--not sure if it's connected.
