got a call 8-1-11, answered even though I knew it was some sort of marketing call. Initiallly was a recording that prompted me to press a number to talk to a representative who could help me lower my intereste rates (I have been harrassed by these calls).  When the live person answered I instructed them to put my number on the do not call list (suppose to be on the list already) and to stop calling and harrassing me.  He hung up on me!!.  Later that evening I received a call from my area code...did not answer but found out it was the same company, NCA financial.  Maybe I will report to the state Attorney General Office for help.

I got a call from this number this morning; I live in Dallas. Didn't answer, no VM. I added number to my rejected list.

Beware of scams. Got a call from """"Microsoft"""". Claiming my computer was infected. I know microsoft never makes this kind of call

Save their number so u will know when they call back, and when they call.. (they will call back) answer by saying "sheriffs dept, detective  ( make up a name)  and say how can I help you?   They will say sorry, wrong number, and won't call back.  Works for me.

Received a call at 2:00 PM today. I have no outstanding loans, but I do need to make sure I am still on the do not call list.

Just got a call from them, pressed 1 to talk with someone. Sounded like a credit card scam.
They guy was pushing for lowering my credit card interest rate.

He stated that he was with Associate Services and I was picked to combine any cc debts
to lower the rate. Claimed they respresented over 550 national banks. I asked a few dumb questions
and try to get as much out of him as possible, he then cussed me and hung up!

Definite SCAM..................

Same here at 5:38pm on July 27th............mo message left.

I received this call yesterday 1:49pm.  Didn't answer, there was no message left.  So I guess they are going to continue to work through some phone list they have.  Interesting to note: both my house and cell phone are on do not disturb registry. Thanks for reporting all, nice to see I'm not the only crazy one getting the calls.

I'm In Kansas and got 2 calls to my cell phone an hour apart to the minute this afternoon. Didn't answer and I'm on the no call list. Definitely working thru KS area codes.

Got a call from this number around 5:30p.m. CST; did not answer nor did they leave a message.

Got a call from this number. Did not answer. When I called it back, it said it was disconnected and no longer in service. Weird because I was just in Utah.

i think it takes up to 30 days for the "do not call" to go into effect. don't give up! :)

Although I'm on the "do not call" list it doesn't assure that some of these calls won't get through   I  received a call from 435-635-1111 a few hours ago. No message was left   I asked my son if he recognized the number. He didn't and told me to 'google' it. I am amazed to be able to get info like this!  I never answer calls I don't recognize. Some people may believe it's rude not to, but if it's important they can leave a brief, but semi-detailed message so I can decide whether it merits my reply... after all, I pay the phone bill! 7/22/11 Got a call from this number.  Did not answer it.  Wonder who to report it to?  Surely some law enforcement entity would be willing to do SOMETHING?!?!?!
