Received call from 435-783-5495, whoever it was did not leave a message.  Whitepages.com lists it as B/L Harris in Kamas, Utah.  Tried to call back and phone immediately rings busy, like the phone is off the hook.  Tried calling a 2nd time and operator says line has been disconnected.  Very weird.

It did the same thing to me. . .exact same, off the hook sounds then it says it's no longer in service. . .weird?  I wonder why they're calling us?  Where are you guys from?  My number is a 330 area code.  Cell phone, too.

I just searched for this number on the internet because I had a missed call from it and didn't recognize the area code. Little did I know this site would be here... Weird.

Yeah, I got called by this number about 5:30 this afternoon. I thought it was strange because I didn't recognize the number itself or the area code. I too decided to type the # on the Internet and Google it to see what I could find. Amazingly enough, it brought me to this site.

Like you guys I'll assume it's some sort of scam or just an annoying random call. I won't be calling it back, either, because I'll probably end up with the same results that you guys ended up with when you called. The weirdest part about it is how they got my # to begin with. Scary how these people can find you when you think you're safe from them....

I Received one from the same number about 1/2 hour ago & I too have a pre-paid phone, so didn't answer, but I am real tired of getting phone calls like these & the ones about the auto warranty!

i got a call from this no. too at about 11.38 this mornin. ive got calls previously as well but this time thought i should do somethin about it. no one speaks and wen i call back it says the no. is dis connected and that i have to check the no. n dial again.......so weird n irritating!!!! some action should be take against who ever is doing such a thing n made sure such stupidity is never repeated ever again

When I called back twice, it rings busy every time.

Got this on my NEt-10 phone, I don't even OWN a car. This is a spam call. Is NET-10 selling the numbers to spammers? How else would they get the number? Yes, I will be charged for the call, sucks!

As for the Harris people, I bet thsi umber was disconnected and resold, now a spammer has it (maybe).

I received a call from this number asking me to push 1 for something about my warranty expiring.

The lady that picked up asked for my car's year, make, and model. I then asked her for her company name and was told "warranty division". I asked warranty division of... who? She said their name is simply warranty division.

She then asked for my name and wanted to verify my phone number.

I asked her what do they have on my records? She said that she has no access to it, that the information is simply needed to expedite my process with the person who handles the warranty stuff.

It wasn't anything TOO horribly personal... though I probably should've just BS'd my name. So I gave it to them my name and confirmed the number.

Then I get this other guy who sounds like he's from new york or something. He starts rushing me through this paper push process and talks about my mileage, which i gave to the lady earlier, and my car's condition. Then he starts talking about payments and what type of warranty plan I will be on.

I start asking him specific questions. Like I can't get this done through my dealership? He responds with EVERYONE knows that dealerships get htei rmoney from maintenance, so they don't want you to have any warranty. This is simple. Everyone knows. You, sir, are making this a lot more complicated than it is. And basically begins to indirectly call me an idiot.

He then mentions that he's some national warranty agency that calls on behalf of ALL insurance companies. Doesn't matter which one, they call on behalf of all of them.

So... can I get this done through my insurance company?

No, you can't. A car company sales cars, and insurance company sales insurance, and a warranty company sales warranties.

He then repeats what he jsut told me.

So I tell him that I need to get back to him later.

Sir, if you don't respond to this, your warranty will be closed today.

So you'll jsut close my warranty?

*I start getting pissed* So you're telling me that you're going to call me up in the middle of work, with no warning or anything whatsoever, then tell me if I don't immediately respond to this that you will cancel my warranty? Don't I get some sort of mail or something at all? I'm not even the one directly responsible for the car's finances (kinda a little lie) and you're going to do this?

This guy claimed that he was with Triple A Warranty or something like that.

i got a call from the same number, called back and nothing!  and F-those auto warranty calls, seriously pissing me off, i'm going find the guys responsible and post their phone numbers in the bathrooms...bastards.

I just recieved a call from this number  435-783-5495.

The calls from 435-783-5495 are spam calls regarding one's warranty on vehicles.  The person or persons calling have it set up similar to spam where the number calling you constantly changes so there's no easy way to check who or where the source is from.

I was half asleep when this caller called me, it was the same number as you guys have stated above and I had low service so I couldn't tell what they were saying but it almost sounded like an automated message.

I got the call, and it must be fraud when the number they list is a disconnected number?  What about a class action for fraud and harrassment.  I'm on the do not call list, so I don't mind hammering these a-holes.

I got a call from them also, it was an automated message telling me the warranty on my Dodge had expired.

I got the same call on Sept 3 I googled it and the number shows up for the Harris Family. I have not tried calling it back but is there some way to stop these calls?
