It is a scam. Do not fall for this scheme. It is a simple twist on a shopper scam going around. The "law office" will have you cash the check and pay for "court fees". You cash the check and send them the court fees. The check bounces and makes you liable for the money and they are richer. Don't fall for it please!!

If you received a check, examine it. Look at the back of the check and you can see the bank symbol recessed into the check. This is due to the obvious fabrication through a possible inkjet printer causing the paper to sag. On the one I examined it was from Wachovia. The Wachovia symbol is not very clear either.

I think it is to because if you look up the name of the office, you can't find it and the address doesn't match.

Afraid this is a scam.........about some type of class action suit.
