The number is spoofed. I got a call yesterday from this same person under the number 000-000-0000. They're your basic "local yellow pages" scam and my advice is just to hang up on them or don't answer at all. If you get suckered into talking with this kind of scam, they'll likely put fraudulent charges on your phone bill which then become a major hassle to have removed. They call every day and I let it go to voice mail and never a message.  Thank goodness for called ID.  I never answer unknown caller or unavailable calls

I just got a call as well.  I don't pick up "out of area" calls anymore--and there are 4 or 5 a day. Would like to know who it is, if anyone knows.

This call came in when I was out, they left no message.  When I returned the call it was answered with a "Disconnected Phone tone" and a message
reporting that the number was disconnected.  It sounded like a phone company's recording but who knows...
