This is a group of people calling from NY 718.445.9317 and OH 440.305.6163 using a survey ploy as a reason to call then saying something about Optimist and trying to say people have been customers so they can call. But these jokers are from India using al kinds of spoof caller ID #'s.

Best thing to do is DON'T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER DON'T ANSWER

Manage your phone don't let it manage you. Every time someone picks up the phone on calls like this a
validation is received and then your number is then sold to a master list and so goes the continuous invasion of privacy.

If people really need to talk to you they will leave a voice mail.

Some idiot wanting to do a political survey about something.  I don't think doing so called political surveys qualifies as a reason for telemarketers to harass people.  
Call Blocked and reported to DoNotCall.gov.  

Keep in mind that the DoNotCall.gov doesn't respond to individual complaints.  If everyone reports the telemarketer en-mass, then the government will respond to the
complaints as a whole.

Automated call saying it was research company called Optimist. The automated voice said this number 512-677-9072 was calling, but caller id registered the incoming call as 440-305-6163. They were taking a poll looking for a specific individual, when I pressed no that I was not the person they were looking for, the machine hung up.  They have been dialing our number twice a day for the last week.

in Texas here.  just started getting calls 2-3 times a day from this number.  never leaves message.

Have been getting calls 3-4 Xs a day for the past 3-4 days. Does not leave message.

Like the others of who have been called, I have been receiving several calls a day from this same number in Ohio. The caller never leaves a message. Like "won't answer", I do not answer calls that have no name.

Calls repeatedly and leaves no message.  I WILL NOT PICK up for #'s I don't recognize.

This number calls us every day, several times a day, but never leaves a message.

This number has called two or three times a day and does not leave a message but waits until they get the answering machine to hang up.  Very frustrating!
