received call at work so answered quickly, spanish recording.  I am on the do not call list and hope I am not charged for the call!

Just got a call from 440-317-7684 and had the same results that everyone else is speaking about on this blog.  I get a couple of these types of calls from different numbers, but have NEVER seen an additional charges on my bill for answering the call.

I got a call from this number too at 5pm est on 10/26.  I didn't pick up and after reading this I am glad I didn't.  Unfortunately, I use virgin mobile prepay so each call eats up time.

I never go anywhere so the post about them having info from traveling with them in the past is totally wrong. I stay at home, basically 24/7 rarely even travel by car, lol. BUT they did call me. I didn't answer but would like to mess with their time a little. Would love to get the company physical address. See if maybe I have something they want to buy, on their dime of course. Oh, just got this Sprint phone number about 3 weeks ago, so far Spring has spammed me and now I am wondering if they don't give out there phone number lists.

They called my cell phone. I didn't answer. No voicemail left.

ALSO RECEIVED A CALL AT WORK, SAID SOMETHING REGARDING TRAVEL. PRESS 1 IF DIDN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED WITH, I DID.  NO REGISTRATION TONES, NOTHING.

Just got a call a few minutes ago from this number.  I did not pick it up.  I have a 323 area code.  Since I'm in front of the computer, I immediately looked it up and found this thread.  Interesting.

Brand new cell phone and cell phone number from Virgin Mobile about 1 month ago, just activated the phone.  No way they could have known anything about me, just coincidently I get a call from this number immediately after activiting the phone.  Is Virgin Mobile part of this scam in any way?  Does anyone else have a cell account with Virgin?  We should not have to deal with this crap!   This is costing us money, and subjecting us to big time risk. Where is the attorney General?  Where is the FCC?

I got a call from this number on Friday the 26th at 10:50 Am EST.  I didn't answer, obviously after reading these that was a good idea.  Any idea who these clowns are?  BTW I have a 703 aread code.

This call came to a TracFone prepaid cell phone, the number of which I have given no one. TracFones are often used by Mexicans because of great international calling plans and TracFone's Mexican ownership. The caller uses a T-Mobile cell phone in Bedford OH (per 411.com and Anywho.com) and often speaks Spanish (per whocalled.us). If you pay intelius.com $14.95, the website claims it will tell you who owns this wireless number.

yeah... they called twice when i was on the other line and ignored it. dunno who it is. far as i'm concerned... i won't pick up if they call again. kinda freaky that all of you got called today, too..

so nobody still has figured out whom the number is registered to??  i just received a call as well, but i hung up b/c it sounded like a recording (by a spanish lady... and I don't know spanish that well)

i also received a call today, didn't bother answering it though.

This is a b***s*** caller and they ask if you want to be taken off the list press 1 which I did and phone doesn't register tones or press buttons.

I received a call from this number today.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.    They left no message.  I don't give out my number, so I'm always suspicious of calls from numbers I don't recognize that won't leave a message.  Came here to check it out.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone and since I have only had my cell phone for a short time and only my family has this number and a couple of friends I wonder how they got my number. I did not answer and they left no message,

I just received a call from this number -- again, apparently a recording of a Spanish-speaking woman, and then it hung up before I could do anything.  This is a practically brand-new number for me -- less than two weeks old -- and I've barely given it out to anyone, let alone used it for any kind of transaction (including travel).  Perhaps the previous owners of the number used it, but it sounds to me like a random call.

Received a phone call from this number, no message was left and I didn't pick up. I have a 702 area code and don't travel very often. I received some random 800-844-6591 and 818-725-2292 phone calls recently at all hours with messages from a spanish speaking lady that didn't complete what she was saying in any message and I couldn't make out what she was trying to say. In addition, I looked up another number that was calling me recently but can't remember the area code. Either way, all callers seem to be tied together by our VW Cars. I started to receive phone calls after my VW was serviced. It's interesting.

i got this same message when i called. i dont even travel unless its by car so im wondering how "they" got my cell phone number. i never give out my cell phone number on anything i fill out

Sorry, "expensive bill payer 2," but you don't know what you're talking about. I've done NO traveling EVER where I've given anyone my cell phone number. This is cellphone spam/phishing, it IS ILLEGAL, and I'll be happy to help prosecutors nail people who do these things. It uses up my minutes and it wastes my time.

i receive frequent calls from this number, as i only answer calls from numbers that show id, .:  I never answer. I use pay as you go minutes. I may lose a minute everytime they call. Not ok, but I accept the cost of doing nothing.

got a call from this number ,no message left. I tried returning the call and they say the call is regarding some travel thing I singed up for and to be removed they ask for more information. FORGET ABOUT IT!! scammers I bet!
