I keep receiving calls from this number.  I do not want them to call me.

After months of daily morning calls, I finally received a response when I answered.  She claimed to be representing "Environment Ohio".  Seeking donations.  I told her not to call again.  She claims that I will be placed on the "Do not call list", but it may take "24 hours".

She gave me their website: www.enviornmentohio.org.  I visited the site.  It is not part of the state government.

Lady was on the phone, asking for a mr jackson, whom dosent live here, and I have had this number for many years. Dont know what she wanted, but she made sure to confirm my number. I have been getting aot of strange calls. I dont believe the donotcall registry works at all. I was on it since it first came out.

I did some investigating and found the contact info for "Meyer Telemarketing" and called them on the phone. They say my number was in their system related to political type issues, but the woman I spoke to wasn't sure how I got on their list and seemed to be caught off guard by the question. This number keeps calling (caller id had 6 missed calls from the number) but never leaves a message. I called the number back and it said "Meyer Telemarketing do not call list" and it asks you to enter your phone number to be removed from the list. I don't trust who it is and suggest to everyone not to enter your number because who knows what they do with the info or if anything happens. So much for the national "Do Not Call Registry!" ;-(

They are telemarketers by the name of Meyer Telemarketing. They obviously completely ignore the DO NOT CALL LIST from the Federal Trade Commission. They want you to call them and be put on their do not call list. They are a pain in the a** and called on Sunday at 6:00 for my daughter who moved out in 2004.

You are SO right!   :)   I am guessing maybe it is a medical collection agency.

Wife got a call this AM and I had answered.  It says its a "Gates Mills" (OH) call.
Man on the phone askef for wife, but when I said she wasn't felling well and had laid down and asked for a message he said "no message" and hung up with no other information.

I've been getting several calls from this number (440) 389-7645 to my home phone over the past few weeks.  There is no one on the line, just silence.  It's very annoying.  My husband worries it's someone checking to see if we are home, and if we don't answer, someone will break in. Anything is possible.

Got a call from them at 12:04 pm

Calls 2-3 times a day.  Rings twice and hangs up.  Says unlisted number from Gates Mills OH.  Strange.

Calls a few times a day for a very long time.  No idea who they are???  They never leave a message.  It's almost like its a machine, b/c it is so consistent with the calls.

Started getting phone calls from this number yesterday.  Judging from what I read here, it's more garbage.  FYI.  Gates Mills is an upscale suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.  Apparently, one person isn't so upscale.

i received this call asking for a member of the house when i said they were not availlible they hung up if a person cant tell you who they are then i think we should be inpolite and hang up on them

i answered this call and it was a survey for the ohio democratic party wanting to know which candidate i will vote for, Obama or Clinton,and if i will definitely vote in the primary election

Someone just called me from there too... probably a solicitor.
